these boots were made for running [open]

Characters: Sora and YOU.
Format: Any
This log is: open
Location: The road around Rakuen's inner town. Other places as she gets lost.
Summary: Having been asleep for quite a while, and thus having missed a lot, Sora attempts to get back to her knightly training regime after the assembly. In the meantime, she thinks. Dangerous, I know.
Warnings: None
Running was easy. Even if she couldn't remember where to go, or what to do, she could still just follow the road around the outside of the town, past the gates of the schools, until she was too tired to keep running. Movement was her only talent, after all. It helped to subdue her frustrations at always being asleep or injured when her friends needed her - when everyone needed someone to help them. This place was even more complicated than the Utopia Academy, and without someone like Tsuki or Karin to guide her, Sora had absolutely no idea which path to take to help everyone. If she fought the system with all of her strength, wouldn't it hurt the headmistress and the others? Wouldn't they be forced to punish those around her, in retaliation? No, she didn't want to take that road. It would only lead to pain and bitterness.

But that didn't leave many options. Sora wasn't exactly imaginative at the best of times. She needed something to do rather than something to think about. She couldn't even remember anything that would be useful to everyone! And so she ran. If she trained, if she learned how to fight properly, she could at least fulfill the role of a simple knight.

She rounded a corner, and, seeing someone on the path ahead of her, stopped beneath one of the groomed trees next to the road to catch her breath. That was another thing she could do, wasn't it? She could make sure she knew everyone in the city, so when they needed help, she could give it. No problem at all. She wiped sweat from her forehead, and waved to the approaching person.

"Good morning!"

"Haha! Morning kiddo!" He called back in enthusiasm, offering the girl a wide, bright smile in return for the greeting as well. "How are ya doin'?"
