Fortitude: Round 4 Start

You may notice that once again the number of Prefects by Dolorosa's side has risen. On the stage with her is Lelouch, Yuri, and Gamzee. Nanami has been sick the past few days and will be missing the assembly, something that is rather routine by now. Dolorosa talks amiably with the three present Prefects before the assembly starts.

It should be a familiar scene by now, Dolorosa smiling out over her students.

"Hello, my students, another round has come to an end and another is starting anew. We were not the victors of round 3 but, just as you have in past rounds, everyone fought well," she laughs a bit, "And perhaps maybe it is a bit safer for all of us that Conquest has won the round, so I congratulate you on avoiding the wrath of Day and Santana." She can't help but poke fun at her fellow staff members, it is easier to make light of the situation than punish her students unnecessarily.

"The downside of losing is that you are not rewarded the extra Raks, but let us not dwell on defeat and instead focus on the victories of the round," behind her, as per usual, the Battle Records show up on the screen.

"I am once again proud of my students, you very rarely battle among yourselves, not that I am discouraging you. I extend a congratulations to Shion for defeating Becca."

As the inter-school battle records show up on the screen she looks surprised but not disappointed, "For Inter-school battles we should congratulate Lelouch," she turns to her Prefect, "for defeating Feferi." That's right, Fortitude won a grand total of two battles, one of them fought against itself. Students should take a moment to be relieved over the fact they are not in Conquest.

"Lastly, we should congratulate Dahlia for winning the round," Dolorosa begins to applaud for all the victors.

[Guess who hears Spain yell from less than six feet to his side and starts off in the completely opposite direction?

England snorts and briskly begins to walk away from Spain, because ew he'll go find a Player he doesn't hate.]

( Spain's begun to attract some attention but a familiar face catches his attention. It figures! People he didn't know would greet him by name but the ones he knew? How rude. Cutting through others, Spain makes his way towards England, reaching out to grab him by the wrist, )

[England, unfortunately, is not your stock female animu character, and when he is grabbed by the wrist, he quickly wrenches away and bends his elbow, readying himself for a potential punch.

He doesn't follow through, but he almost does when he sees who it is!] Excuse you, I am most certainly not a hedgehog. What do you want?

But you are running, no? ( Teasing and smiling a troublesome sort of smile. Really, he's asking for a fight. ) I wanted to know what you were doing, of course.

I'd call it more of a proud stride. [The punching is getting a lot more tempting. But he can't remember if there was any rule about not physically engaging players.

Maybe if he can't talk his way out of this in less than two minutes.] I'm going to find a Player that's not a complete arsehole, of course. If you were wondering why I was walking in the direction opposite you.

[Not that he wants a Player, but being a Discard is kind of a pain too.]

Ah! You're in luck! ( No, that smile isn't going away. ) I'm looking for a weapon. I'm in a generous mood, you can be mine.

[He pulls an absolutely scandalized expression of disgust.] Absolutely not!

[He's quickly approaching his patience cap. stop smiling goddamnit]

I'm not asking, Inglaterra. I'm saying you will be mine.

[Wow what a presumptuous fuck. All the memory bullcrap in the world couldn't make him forget why he hates this tosser.

He weighs his options. He's a Discard. He needs a Player. Spain wants him as a Weapon. Apparently, Spain wants him as a Weapon badly. He hates Spain. But, because he hates Spain...]

I want a memory charm in exchange.

[He has absolutely no moral qualms about making some demands! Apparently, not having what are potentially very important parts of his history perturbs him more than being at Spain's mercy for all of six days. He's lived through worse, and eventually the time will come that Spain will need a Player himself.]
