Location: Lunch area for Conquest students.
Summary: food drives a lot of things.

[She's picky about food, missing the stuff she had back at home. She's been able to try different cuisines, but most aren't fitting for her taste. She misses a lot of different fruits, too. She misses many things about home, but food is probably higher than it should be.

Anyway, she has some curry for lunch today. Now to find a place to sit! She's been a little nervous about sitting where there's a large group. She knows establishing relationships is important in any place, so she's decided to not eat alone today. She randomly picks out a spot, seeing one person already there.]

Finally it's lunch time! What are you eating today? [and she sits right next to him, looking at his plate because food is always a good way to start a conversation.]

Scientists have proved a lot of things. Pretty sure I read it on an American news site once. [ He's not sure of this, but it certainly sounds plausible. ]

I fail to see how this is even relevant, but I'd pick getting in trouble over spicy food any day. [ In any serious situation, he would bite the bullet and eat spicy food, but his pride was making that rather difficult right now. Also, what can the school do to him? ]

A pretty terrible one.

Americans don't know anything about spice and flavoring. I on the hand do, so you should listen to me.

Eating bad food makes the mind, body, and mood not good -- you didn't know that? Don't worry, we'll build up your tolerance slowly. You can trust me.

Hm, well, you seems like you made out alright enough. Now I'll just polish you into a fine young man.

I'll listen to you wax poetic about your stupid spices if that's what you want. Just don't make me eat any of it. [ He's caving. Slowly. Maybe. ]
