Backdated to Monday last week >_> My computer broke, whoops.

Characters: Alex and Fortitude students, and anyone else who might sneak in
Format: Whichever
This log is: open
Location: Computer Lab
Summary: Alex's first day teaching
Warnings: Worst teacher ever? (None)
Alex stood awkwardly at the front of the class, looking young enough and nervous enough that he could easily just be a lost student. He started passing out books, first to the weapons sitting in the front of the classroom, then to the rest of the class.

"W-well, I-I guess I'm supposed ta be your teacher or s-something.... I've n-never really taught before, so I guess l-let's start with the i-idea of programming. Ah, w-well, do any of you know anything about c-computer programming? I g-guess, if you don't, uh, j-just read the first chapter?"

Dahlia sat in class, her textbook already open to the first page of the first chapter. She was such a model student, after all.

"Just read it, sir?" she asked. "That sounds quite simple."

[Daenerys stares blankly at the computer, she can turn it on, use the mouse and keyboard (mostly) and sometimes she can even comment on network posts, but anything more than that is beyond her.]

[She has absolutely no idea what she's doing and it's becoming frustrating, she bangs the mouse on the desk and turns away from the computer as if it offended her.]

[Dave is probably the best student ever. And by that, I mean he's the kid with his face on the table, completely passed out at the keyboard. The book is propped open in front of him, but it's so obvious he's not even awake.]

Firifale had been through this before. By now, he was thoroughly sick of books that didn't have big friendly pictures of talking animals, and even those made him tetchy. He gave it a fair shot, though; he opened the book and scanned briefly through the pages.

They were full of words. And numbers. And ohno new things. Squiggly lines and pointy bits and all sorts of patterns that "Lily Lion's Bad Day" had not prepared him for.

Computer programming was scary.

He slammed the book shut. In a feat of acrobatics he used a pen and one foot to relegate it to a far corner of his desk, teetering precariously on the edge. His face was pale as he stared intently at the thing as if it were a cobra ready to strike. He licked his lips.

"....Help?"

Shion hadn't done any computer programing before but he knew how to work a computer and after reading the first chapter he figured that computers here were very similar to computers in No. 6.

He began doing the basic exercises, finding that it wasn't too difficult. Easier than the other classes by far.
