Hey....Has anyone seen or talked to Marisa?

[There is a sound of shuffling and the small splash of something hitting the water. Her voice sound worried and sad..Almost like something is missing.]


I tried to send her a message but it didn't go through.

[Was that a sniffle? Who knows. but her voice is softer]

Oh....Okay..I just hope she's okay....

[The line is so practiced, it almost sounds convincing. Key word- Almost. Her voice is still soft and very worried.]

[For a moment, she's contemplating not telling her but she finally gives in.]

Conquest. White 2-A I think. But I'm not there right now.

[Becca doesn't reply, she just gets up and goes looking for her.]

[Not hard to find Cirno. She's sitting at the shore, in her home attire, feet in the water and the PDA beside her, watching the water as if it was to give her the answers to everything.]

[Becca comes up beside her and holds her arm out, silently offering to put her arm around her.]

[She jumps a bit and wipes at her eyes quickly but offers up a small smile as she turns to Becca. She scoots a bit closer, accepting the offer in her own childish way.]

[Becca squeezes her gently, trying to be reassuring.]

I'm strongest, too, where I come from. So I'll be strong for you right now, and you can pay me back when I need it later, okay?

[Even though she's still fighting against crying, she's still interested to meet other strong people. Her voice is curious as she still wipes at her eyes a bit.]

Yeah. I have to be strong for me and my little brother.

[She tilts her head a bit, listening to every word.]

You must be really strong then. Bein' strong fro others is the best type of being strong!

Well, I try. But a lot of my memories are missing, so I don't...really remember what was going on. But I remember I swore I'd always protect him. From...whatever it was.

You sounds like the best Big Sister ever. Even if you dun remember what ya were protecting him from, That's a big job.

Yeah, it was...the two of us, against the world. No help from anybody else. And...we loved it that way.

[A smile has crept onto Cirno's face as she listens, her mind off of the empty feeling after learning Marisa was gone for the time being.]

I hope that never changes for you guys when ya get outta here.

Thanks. I've gotta play the game till I remember who he is, though. They took that from me...it makes me so upset.

You will. I know you will. Just like I know one day I'll gain back my memories of my home and what I am.

[She wipes at her eyes again, the thought of the lost memories starting to win the war again her not wanting to cry]

Yeah. So we'll both be strong and take back what's ours, okay?

[petting her hair gently]

[She nods and finally gives into the tears, ducking her head down to try and hide it, even though her body just shivered with every growing sob]

[Becca just holds her close and rubs her back, not saying anything. Making her talk would give away that she was crying, and there wasn't really anything to say anyway.]
