It's 10AM on Sunday morning, before the assembly, and if you've forgotten that Dirk Strider is a person who exists, then nobody could blame you, because he's been in the shower for the past two and a half hours.

Once Black dorm is completely out of hot water, he comes moseying back into 2-A, dressed in his Fortitude uniform with a towel wrapped around his hair. Feel free to complain, or, alternatively, to notice the shield symbol that is most definitely on the back of one hand even though the Players for the round haven't even been announced.

Dave had gotten dressed at this point. Ugh. Mornings sucked. He needs to go back to sleep.

Sorry Jake. Hopefully you don't mind company because that sure as hell Dave crawling into your bed to catch a few more minutes of sleep. He just doesn't want to be awake. And his bed isn't as warm as yours is, considering there is a mass of body heat and he wants it.

Don't worry. He's just going to curl up for a few minutes. No harm, right?

Oh, whoa, okay what was that. That ...was Dirks alternate paradox brother climbing into bed with him um. Jake moves and is about to get up and relocate when he notices Dave has just.

Curled up and gone right back to sleep.

Ah. Jake snickers and resists the urge to pat him on the head. Dirk your brother is kind of adorable.

Except you aren't allowed to get away god damn it. You are a source of heat and he's just going to snuggle up against you. Holy fuck it was cold and now it wasn't. Best day ever.

Dave is not a cuddler. Even if he's kind of totally cuddling up to Jake. It's not his fault he really fucking hates this cold weather.

Oh well. Uh. That was a little strange. And uncomfortable. But of course Jake doesn't quite have it in him to move or push him away. Wow! He must be really tired and ...cold he guesses?
