I may have met with an untimely defeat in the tournament, but I'm not ready to call it quits just yet. Any other Players interested in taking me on? I promise to make it worth your while.

On another note, I've come into possession of a few pieces of highly influential media from my world. We're gonna be having us a movie night this Saturday, seven PM at the city library. Attendance is mandatory.

Yes, but I would prefer it to be with someone willing to use alternative means to decide the battle. Something that levels the battle field, so to speak.

Alternate means? How do you mean?

I've been considering if there would be any ramifications of two Players drawing weapons to declare a battle, but instead using a game like chess or similar to decide the outcome.

That's an interesting idea. I'm not opposed to testing it out.

Gonna have to pick something other than this "chess" thing, though, because I've never heard of it. Chutes and Ladders, perhaps. Barring that, I'm always up for a rap battle.

Ah, I might have to take that under consideration. I've of course made use of the ability to order things, but usually they were from a more general category.

I haven't really bothered, since I figure that shit'll still be there when I get home and I have memories to spend my raks on, but these movies were a bit of a special case.

Yes, of course. Memories are a priority.

It's a game of strategy, using pieces that can only move in specific ways across the board toward your opponent's with the goal of capturing them. If you are the sort of person I have you pegged for, I think learning might serve you well.

A war-game simulation, then. Sounds interesting, but if I'm guessing right it's the kind of thing that would take months if not years to master. I don't plan on bein' stuck here that long.
