He might be human now, and be happy that he was human now, but he already had found out that in his world his genetic code was changed enough from human that he was a different species technically, and he had that set in his mind. Usually it was only a source of shame, but bringing up the topic just salted the wounds and made him more furious.]

I-I'm a Shadow Eater. I c-can use your worst nightmares as a l-light snack. [Okay, that was a stretch, but it was possible he could, if this mad didn't have very terrible nightmares, and Alex did have an easier time eating fear usually.]
