[Perhaps it wasn't the smartest thing ever to be training in his normal gear, cape and all, but a knight always had to be prepared no matter what! Plus, if he ever got into the habit of not training in full gear, he might not have the stamina to endure a battle the next time he donned it.

His logic thus, Adam was jogging around the island one fine morning with his cape, ponytail and hair tie fluttering behind him in the wind. As he started to pass by the lake, the chill from the water surface was a welcome coolant to his uncomfortably warm body and he slowed to a walk to enjoy the sensation. His imprisonment on this island aside... it really was quite a lovely place.]

Today looks like it's going to be a good day.

[ Whoa it's a guy in armor. Did people around here normally wear armor? No? It didn't seem like it. Particularly since the uniforms for Fortitude were crazy short....

Jade's sitting on the lake shore, feet stuck in the ice cold water. She doesn't know that it might be bad for her circulation; the toes are looking pretty red right now. But she doesn't care; there's a man in armor!! ]

What are you doing?

Oh, good morning! [Jade has a proper greeting accompanied by a wave.] I'm completing my training for the day.

[greenspaces]

[ She giggles. ] Good morning to you, too! I didn't know that training came with a lot of armor.

[knightofred]

[Have a blissfully ignorant smile.] I didn't want my endurance to go down by not wearing it.

[Said in very sincere tones as he slows to a stop near Jade and gives her a polite bow.] My apologies, I'm Adam.

That's really cool. Should I start wearing armor when I do things, too? To get big and strong?

[ Gonna bow back, even though she's...sitting down. ] I'm Jade, it's nice to meet you!

[The gesture earns a bright and unperturbed smile. Jade's oddities are endearing quirks compared to the myriad he's already been exposed to.]

If that is what you want, you can do that... but I think true strength comes from within, my lady.

[ Hooray! Jade is easily charmed. ]

As long as your heart is strong, you won't need physical strength!
