After shenanigans at Recette's shop, Dirk has some deliveries to make -- memory charms for Dave and Sis, and memory charms plus upgrades and those Prospit dreaming pendants for Jake and Jane.

Aw man, and movie night is tonight also... He's gonna be busy today.

Throughout the day, he can be found around Fortitude and Rakuen, and lurking about outside the borders of Conquest.

Perhaps Rakuen is a gift for you then, I know that you guys want in the game. But it's scary in here. It's a whole new world and I don't even know how to begin telling you what you're going to do.

[ Oh that's awkward. He finally extricates himself from this hug and smiles down at Jane, half-smirking and half-genuine, and leaves his hands on her arms for just a second before dropping his arms down to his sides. ]

I've spent years planning for it and I've already seen the inside of the game thanks to my dream self. I got Sburb in the bag. It's Rakuen I went in blind to.

[She squeezes a moment before finally letting go herself. She really did enjoy being around the boys more than she would like to admit. She doesn't know what to do to help them out more though.]

When we go back, you have to promise to be careful, okay?

I don't know how to fix the damage I've already created. I was absent for ever half of his childhood already. He's growing up and there isn't a damn thing I can do about it at this point.

He died before I was born. [ There's not really any emotion in how he says it. It's just how things have always been. ] I don't begrudge him for it, but it's still accurate to say that you're a hell of a better guardian than he was.

It had a few problems, but I got along pretty well. Admittedly, thanks to the shit he left behind. But Dave had you around to train him and do stuff like sign at him.

It's true that we don't know if we'll retain our memories of Rakuen once we return home, but -- what do you mean?
