Okay, good. Dirk got back to his feet along with Jake. Jarring though it might have been, he knew the guy could handle it.

"Not a problem. Just glad I was able to get something back for you." Sure, it would have been nicer if it were something happy, or even something balls-fucking-stupid like Dirk's had been, but this was still something important. One step closer to recovering everything Jake had lost.
