Characters: Dave Strider (AU) and Jade Harley (AU)[ Jade bolts awake at about one in the morning -- without waking Sora up, she's quick to run from the prefects' cottage to the Black dormitory. To be honest, Black had always been more comforting than the cottage; it was the first place she stayed, and she had a lot of memories there. But right now, she had more pressing issues than nostalgia.
Format: Action
This log is: Closed
Location: Dave's room, Black 2-B
Summary: It's stupid o'clock in the morning and Jade has been dreaming on Prospit so much during the day that she's forgotten all the promises she made Dave when they got battle married. Also she's got insomnia.
Warnings: None
She sneaks into 2-B and passes the sleeping bodies as quietly as she can, making almost no noise in her bare feet. She's shivering a little bit in her nightgown, but she decides to ignore that. Spotting Dave amidst all the forms, she quietly reaches out and pokes him in the shoulder. ]
Dave...are you awake?
[ Poke. Poke poke. ]

And he didn't even know what would happen if he went back home. Would time have move forwarded? Would it have froze in place? Either way...he thinks he could stay here a little longer. If it were the first, he'd be a Doomed Dave anyways.
And Sis wanting to go...he didn't want Sis to go back home either.] 'There's a lot of time before it'll happen.' [It gives them time to think.]

She's not really sure what else to say, so she leans in and kisses him on the cheek instead, all very grown up and 14 year old-like. ]
Whatever happens, we can go together.

He nods a bit, and smiles at her softly.
He'll figure something out. For now, he'll enjoy her company.]

One day, I want to grow up.
[ It's kind of a random thought, but hey, since they're on the subject of feelings. ] And be an adult. And get married, and get a job....
Maybe I can do that here.

But if she gets to stay here, she might. As much as this place was annoying, it wasn't all bad.]
'You're already part way there. You got a job, don't you?'
