[When the camera starts you just see a flailing arm and hear a few highly undignified high-pitched squeaks. Then an upright torso topped with shaggy hair scrabbling at his face. When the focus corrects on the camera, you can see him pulling a handful of slugs off of his face, as well as some lettuce leaves.

But then he seems to be having a different trouble. He curls forward in pain, and then stiffens again, reaching a hand around to his back. With how he's not masking the pain, he's not aware that he's being recorded at all.

Slowly, he moves his legs out from under the blankets, not really caring at all about the fate of the critters that had been on his face. When he finally grabbed the PDA and saw it'd been recording, the pain is covered by anger.] Suzaku. I need you. [And off.]

((Jade put some slugs on Lulu's face as thanks for him being such a stellar person. And he also just got canon updated to right when he got shanked by Suzaku. So. Pain much?

[When Suzaku arrives, he's obviously in a lot of pain. He's squirming a but on his side on the bed. He's glad to see him, though] It hurts more than I ever expected it to... [but he seems to accept the pain, as though it's deserved]

Hurts? [Suzaku blinked in confusion, what hurt? He he been injured after all? He hadn't seemed to be when Suzaku had checked on him, and comas usually didn't hurt.] What hurts?

[He slowly pushes himself back up to vertical, and starts working on his shirt. Moving his shoulders too much either forward or backward seems to give him some significant pain. It shows on his face, but he doesn't make a sound.

Once his shirt is off, that sword wound is plain to see. Scarred over, though it was angry and red at the moment. The skin had healed, but the inside still had some ways to go. What he thinks as he looks down at himself and over his shoulder into the mirror at his back isn't clear.]

[Suzaku's eyes widened, a sword wound... but he hadn't been wounded when he had fallen unconcious. It looked like a killing blow but if he had died why was the wound still there...]

Who... who did this to you Lelouch?

[If it were Nanami, peace promise to Lelouch or not he would make sure she never hurt him again...]

[He put his shirt back on.] Zero.

[What... but... Lelouch was Zero... why would he k...

Suzaku blinked, unless... Zero... zero requiem... he remembered Britannia who seemed to have experienced a year but woke up the next morning...

Zero Requiem, the plan they have been working towards, the plan that Lelouch hadn't been able to remember, or hadn't experienced... and now...]

I finished my recreation of Britannia. This appears to be Rakuen's way of giving me a reminder. [He reached out and put a hand on Suzaku's shoulder. There was a light tremble.in it before he took hold.] You did it well. Exactly as we planned.

[Even though he had known about the plan, had agreed to it and been prepared to carry it out... Seeing Lelouch wounded, seeing what he had done... was going to do... planned to do...

As Lelouch's hand touched his shoulder Suzaku sat down heavily on the bed.] So... it worked... we did it... [And Lelouch was dead... by Suzaku's hand...]

[He put his other hand on Suzaku's other shoulder.] Yes. Zero Requiem is complete. The world falls to the care of Zero and Nunnally. My sword served me well.

[It was a relief even if a painful one, that they had succeeded in saving the world... Of course how that had happened when they were all here... Suzaku failed at even attempting to work out how that could be...

He was lost for words, because what do you even say to your friend and emperor who you killed, when you haven't even killed them yet...]

[He steps away ftom Suzaku, toward where his uniform hung. He gave it a long, almost nostalgic look before he started to dress.] It's appropriate that I receive no rest in death. A demon such as myself deserves no less. I will change this world just as I did ours. I do not need Zero. I will do what I have to do. When I'm finished, this cycle will be no more.

[Not even allowed to die... an awful fate and one that Suzaku couldn't even imagine...

He frowned at the headache but nodded, getting up to stand beside Lelouch.] What is it you plan?

I will continue to break open the towers in a sequence that seems suitable, but until the prefects necessary are created, I'll have to probe more in-depth into what makes this system work. That may result in some penalties being inflicted upon you. I don't intend on allowing that to hold me back. [So buy some Tylenol in bulk]

[Suzaku nodded, he didn't care about being hit by penalties, better him than someone like Nunnally.] How do you plan to do that?
