Hello folks of Rakuen, if you don't know me by now my name is Jane Crocker. I think I have been doing a pretty swell job of avoiding a network post until now. The thing is here is that I made some cake and I think all of Rakuen should have some sort of treat for all of their hard work in classes and battle alike.

[She's made shit loads of things for just Fortitude, so why not all of Rakuen?]

It's being held at the Bakery in town if anyone wants some of it. [She used a whole three boxes of cake mix to make this and she's plum proud of it!]

I'll also be a round town if you want to go for a walk or something! So, see you guys later and enjoy the cake!

[The feed cuts; however, a private feed to Dirk still remains.]

Dirk, will you meet me in town please? Asap, if you don't mind.

Both of us? [ He glances over curiously. ]

[She cares so much about the two of them. They arrive at the infirmary, and are leg to where Jake is sleeping. Jane only peers through the opening. Brobot is sitting next to the bed, and Jake is sound asleep.]

I'm afraid one day you'll both hurt yourselves. It's...silly. I suppose I should shush up.

Damn right you should.

[ Brobot doesn't so much as glance over at them, which is confirmation enough for Dirk that nothing has changed here. ]

Didn't I tell you I'm the one running this show? I'm fine, Jane.

[She turns from the room, she's worried about Jake. She's worried about Dirk. She spends most of her days worrying about the entirety of Rakuen that she's made friends with.]

You told me a lot of things you know. I don't remember you telling me you were fine.

[fracturedsoul]

... [ He shakes his head, chuckling slightly. ] Okay, then. I'm telling you now, I'm fine.

What if back home, you aren't? What if you're in some sort of crazy trouble?

[SHE WILL FIND OUT.]

[ He doesn't so much as flinch at that. He's already worried about being dead back home thanks to his corpse-ordering shenanigans, but he's not going to let that show. ]

Then I'll take care of that when I get back. There's no use in fussing over it here. You'll just get wrinkles.

I probably already have grey hairs from this blasted place!

[She might have said that a little loudly. Whoops. Brobot is sorta just looking at them.]

[ Dirk glances over and waves dismissively. Brobot returns to his vigilant watch over Jake.

It's actually kind of creepy.

Dirk turns to head down the hall. ]

You're such a worrywart. What do I keep telling you, Jane? You got to be more like Jake.

[Jesus this was not her day obviously.

Ergh, they can walk down the hall now yes.]

But Jake and I are so different....

That's the point.

I don't get what you're getting at here Dirk, explain. We're different, yet we need to be alike?

Yes.

I'm not saying you need to be the same person. But you need to loosen up a bit, and he needs to be more cautious. You're like two extremes when what you need to be is closer to the middle, both of you.

I don't need to loosen up Dirk! It has kept me out of trouble ever since I've been uptight about every single little thing. I think I can be completely okay just the way I am, don't you?

[Jane is just afraid....okay?]

[ He shoots her a sideways glance, mouth quirked to one side.

Well, she'll come around. He just needs to work at her a little more. ]

We'll see.

[She grinned a little, Dirk never smiles like that. Even just a small mouth quirk.]

Why are you even smiling? I bet you have some plan concocted in that brain of yours already,

[ He's actually just glad to see that Jane actually has lightened up a bit and opened her mind a little since the last time he saw her back home. So he just shrugs. ]

Do I ever not?

Not like that, certainly not in such a frivolous manner as this. What are you scheming Dirk?
