Thunderstorm (Attn: All)

As classes continue on Friday the weather gets continuously worse until teachers announce that the last class will be cancelled. Screens display the message that all students must report to their dorms but power outages and flickers render them mostly ineffectual. Prefects are instead sent out, armed with waterproofs to make sure all students make it back to their dorms.

Thunder crashes and lightning lights up the sky as the lights flicker and the wind gets steadily louder. Students are required to remain inside, prefects are sent round with snacks and all prepare themselves for a long, wet and windy afternoon.

"No, none of those." Suzaku reached out to grab him and the moment he touched him had a revelation. So that's what cat fur felt like...

A moment later he was falling backwards out the tree, still holding Cheshire as his memory reset itself over and over again.

Suzaku nodded, "I am sure you are trying your best."

Suzaku hadn't been the only prefect to notice Cheshire's plight, but he had certainly been the fasted. By the time Flynn had reached the tree, the situation seemed to be totally under control.

Hahaha. Ha.

On the bright side, it meant he was in the perfect position to run forward and catch the both of them when Suzaku hazed out. The catching itself wasn't the problem - they were relatively light - but getting the other prefect out of his memory loop... He smiled awkwardly at Cheshire.

"Will you climb onto my shoulder for a moment?"

"It's my turn," Sora pointed out, gallantly. "Doesn't that mean I lose?"

Funny thing about that, I don't answer to you! [he claps Suzaku on the shoulder] I'll be going now.

Arthur noticed the rain, thank you very much.

"Very good, and that's the sky," he points up, "and that's the ground," he points down.

"I can be wherever I please, there is no one here who rules over me, I am King after all. And as I remember it I'm your King so are you going to do what I say or what they say?"

"I don't know... Aren't we supposed to catch the mice?" She held up the inside of the box lid, and looked at it with one eye. She had it upside down.

Cheshire doesn't move because he's too busy figuring out what was wrong with Suzaku. "Forgot to stand?"

[Suzaku frowned.] No you won't. [He walked to get in front of Arthur.] You are to remain here, it may be dangerous outside.

[it's a little better, but still something that affects her. she's trying to ignore it, though starts a bit at the next thunder]

I- [p-pause] I'm fine.

[swordofzero]

I'm glad. [His PDA beeped and he took it out, reading the message from Lelouch with a frown before putting it away.]

Merlin frowned, and ignored Arthur but he supposed he had a point. Though he wasn't king here and Merlin wasn't convinced they should annoy those in charge. It was usually a bad idea. "Where are we going?"

Suzaku didn't answer Cheshire or Flynn because he was too busy resetting. Every time he felt Cheshire's fur he remembered, and then forgot, and remembered, then forgot...

Why would Cheshire ever be easy to work with? He grinned back up at Flynn and oblidged just long enough to jump back down onto Suzaku. A moment was such an imprecise measurement.

He's planning something. I am not sure what.

[He hands over the PDA] You can try and contact him, I am not sure if he will answer though.

[Arthur stands tall, trying to look kingly]

I understand that you hold a position of power here, you hold one higher than I. But that matters not. You are a knight and I am a king. I outrank you, and I don't care what you tell me, I am going out and getting the one person here who is actually from my kingdom.

Just because he wasn't King here doesn't mean that he's not a King still. He can use his powers. Or run away. Either one.

"We'll check you in at your dorm so they know you're not dead, then we'll decide from there."

[Yep kings and rulers are a pain no matter what world they come from. But Suzaku is very used to dealing with overbearing nobles]

I do not mean any disrespect, but you are not my King and your status has no bearing here. You may not leave this dorm.

[Very likely, Suzaku frowns.] I guess he has already started whatever he is planning.
