Location: Middle of the forest
Summary: Alex helps to host Rakuen's very own rave! Complete with strobe lights, glow sticks, and loud, pulsing music!
Warnings: DEBAUCHERY!

Alex worked all day setting up, attaching strobe lights to trees, laying out the electric system to power them and the music, and making sure the glow sticks were up by the DJ- there were enough that the whole school could each have a few glow items to themselves. As night fell the party powered up, just waiting for people to arrive.

((Open to anyone Alex may have asked to help him set up. Dave, Dirk, Shion, and Becca were absolutely asked, but other people he knows and has a good relationship with may have been asked as well~))

[might just spend the set-up time more interested in flirting with Alex than in working]

[It is very hard for Alex to set up when he keeps flailing over her passes.]

[She keeps wanting to reach out and pinch his rear, but she restrains herself. There is a lot of fond staring at it, though.]

B-Becca? Wh-what're you staring at? Did I s-sit in somethin?

No, that's not it!

[beet red and turning away now]

Uh, o-okay? [Totally confused. He gets back to working]

[mutters under her breath] ...staring cause you're hot...

[Alex drops the chair he had 'borrowed' from the common room as a deep blush creeps across his face.] A-ah? I-I think I d-didn't hear...?

I wasn't talking to you!

S-so... uh, someone else is h-hot? [He's trying to tease. Is it working? He can't believe he actually just said that.]

[Just a few minutes before everything gets started, like a nerd.] Oh, I was going to see if you needed help with the heavy lifting, but it looks like you've already got it taken care of.

[Alex just stares at Sam for a moment.] Y-you... You're... Uh.

... Thanks. [He really looked quite surprised as that strange memory came back to mind. He smiled with more fondness than their brief relationship really warranted.] S-Sam.

[bloodbrother]

[Oh whoops. Did he come up too quiet? He did that sometimes.] Sorry I didn't mean to spook you. Moving quietly kind of comes with the territory. [Or maybe he flashed too much fang? Being a predator was a pain.]

[Alex laughed gently,] N-no. It's just... I know i-it'll sound strange, but... After that tower thing, some people g-got memories right?

[bloodbrother]

Yeah, I remember hearing about that. I don't know if I want to go in, myself. [Something about facing a meaner version of himself was just setting himself up for failure. Especially knowing what he was capable of if he lost his rational mind.]

[Alex wrung his hands nervously, but still smiling.] Y-yeah, it was scary, b-but... [Alex jingles his charm bracelet.] I c-can remember you. I d-don't know why, b-but, well, you were g-giving me a journal ta k-keep my thoughts in, and I remember that journal c-came ta mean a lot t-to me. You did too.

[bloodbrother]

[He looks a little confused. But he nods. Could people get memories of different versions of themselves through different iterations of this game? Just how big was this thing?]

I see. Well, I'm glad it was helpful. I don't really remember having met you before, but then I still don't have most of my lost memories.

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

[Alex covers his face,] Oh, I sh-shouldn'tve said anything.

[bloodbrother]

No! I didn't mean it like that. [He waved both his hands in front of himself.] I mean, I even forgot I was a vampire for a while, so it's not like this place has been all that nice to me about memories.

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

W-well, I d-don't think there's v-vampires in my world... A-and I think you'd've heard of shadow e-eaters if you were from m-my world. At least of the C.R.P. S-So I d-don't know where this m-memory's from, a-and I just sound c-crazy.... [Alex is just extremely flustered at this point.]

[Dave was in and out at first. He had to carry his DJ equipment from his room, which wasn't exactly a fun task without your sylladex. He would help Alex with the rest of the set-up after, but they wouldn't have music without proper equipment.

He rested against a wall for a few minutes once everything was brought down.]

[Once Alex gets most of the things set up, he works on helping Dave with some of the lighter things that he had. Alex wasn't terribly strong, but the rest of the things he had to do were things like lights and water.]

[Alex will probably learn quickly how pretty protective Dave is about his equipment and that it had to be set up specifically.

Even if they weren't super expensive by Rakuen standards, he still wanted to make sure nothing got scratched up.]

[Alex made sure to be extremely careful, waiting for Dave's permission to pick anything up, and again for where it should be put down.

He couldn't fault Dave in the slightest. Alex was the same way about his computer, and had been known to flip shits over someone even touching his laptop without permission.]
