Summary: Suzaku is sent to show Yuka to her prefect room

As the assembly drew to a close Suzaku approached Yuka. His lip was still covered in dried blood where he had bit it during his penalty and his eyes were still a little red but apart from that you would not guess Suzaku had just been hit with fifteen minutes of pain and stripped of his rights for a week.

His face was neutral yet polite as he got closer. "Yuka Kazami?"

"What a strange way of doing things... Well. My room is in White."

As they walked towards campus, Yuka contemplated the events of earlier. During the assembly, both Lelouch and Suzaku had received the same punishment, but it had been described as one taking the punishment of the other. Lelouch had the mark of a weapon owned by a Conquest member, which normally could only happen via battle - and there had been no time for that. Coincidence?

Well, asking about part of her speculations should be fine. "By any chance, are you linked to Lelouch?"

Suzaku nodded and started leading the way to Conquest Campus and the White dorm, he was silent as he walked. He had a lot to think about, obviously the mayors knowledge of what went on in the city was better than they had thought. That they had gotten caught so easily despite precautions. The question made him blink and he raised a hand to touch the link necklace. "I am."

Interesting. So people who were linked received punishments in each other's stead... probably. But that wouldn't explain the rest of what happened. Jake couldn't be linked to two different people, at least not unless the rulebook had something very wrong. So she was still missing information.

It might be a relatively academic question; Yuka had no particular ambition towards rulebreaking anyway. But if she was going to try to follow the Maid's path, she needed to learn whatever she could.

And she would definitely have to learn more about these two.

Yuka smiled at Suzaku. "I think I would like to fight the two of you sometime."

Suzaku nodded, "We can if you wish, since we are both players this time. Though I am not sure how it will work with Lelouch." They could easily fight on campus but he couldn't fight with Lelouch's Weapon without getting it first, difficult when they had their rights taken away.

Yuka thought about it. "It shouldn't be too difficult. The rules for Discards would allow me to escort you off campus, and I'm sure Cirno knows someone who could pass a message to Lelouch so he could meet us at the gates."

Technically she thought this might be a bit rules-lawyering. Yuka couldn't go inside the Fortitude grounds on her own, and Lelouch couldn't leave on his own, but could he exit the grounds and immediately be considered escorted by her? She thought it would be considered acceptable though. To do otherwise would hinder a fight, and that would go against everything this place was built on.

Suzaku nodded, "That would work, I would be happy to fight you then." He had actually found that he did not mind the fighting here, after all most of his life had been taken up by fighting and here no one died.
