Summary: Sora and America want to go see what kind of movies the theater has, and anyone they can catch is invited!

This particular subtext, Yuka missed, for a very simple reason...

"What's a movies?"

... She didn't know what the text meant.

Did she just say what he thinks she said? Nah, couldn't be.

"Haha! Good one." Because seriously, that must be a joke.

Yuka frowned. "Good what?"

"Good joke?" He looked at her curiously. That was another joke, right?

"I wasn't joking." Yuka was getting irritated. Did he not want to tell her for some reason?

"Y-ya weren't?" No way, no way! How can someone not know what a movie is!

"A movie is like a play...except it's played on a large screen usin' moving pictures."

Yuka calmed down a bit, since he seemed to be genuinely surprised. "If it's something technological, that sort of thing is rather... randomly distributed where I'm from." To put it mildly.

"I see..." It sounded a lot like a computer game, except not interactive. And more of a group activity. ... Well, okay, when it was Marisa playing, it tended to be quite a group activity. She tended to be pretty noisy.

"I suppose that might be interesting. What sort of story will it be?"

Technology that wasn't distributed to the masses? What kind of place did she come from!? Such an idea was shocking at best, especially considering that she didn't know what a movie is.

"Haha! Who know, I don't even know what movies they're playin' right now."

"Hmmmmm..." Yuka shrugged. "Well, I don't have any particular plans for the rest of the afternoon, so I'm willing to try it."

She paused for a moment as she absent-mindedly (for a definition of which inolves being completely deliberate) adjusted a strap. "Should I change first?" After all, swimsuits weren't appropriate attire for many businesses, and she didn't really know anything about this one.

It certainly wasn't that she felt like messing with America. That was just a bonus.

"Oh!" He blinked, almost forgetting what she was wearing. He had to keep his eyes from wondering as he thought about that. "Sure, if you wanna. I mean, it's gonna be kinda cold in the theater."

Yuka chuckled. It seemed he'd kept his mind (mostly) on business, so not as much fun in the "messing around" category, but it made her feel more like she might want to spend time around him in the future.

"I think I will. The rain is nice, but I've probably had enough for a while."

He's America, and a guy, meaning that he tends to have a fairly one-track mind when it comes to certain things. In this case it was grabbing enough people to go to the movies with.

"Really? Sweet! See ya there in a few!"
