Location: EVERYWHERE at some point.
Summary: One of Sora's forgotten things happens to be the layout of the school. She decides that it would still be a good idea to go for a jog around the entire campus. Predictable antics ensue.

Sora Himoto was lost.

Not just slightly lost, something minor that could be fixed by spotting a familiar landmark and wandering towards it, but entirely, cripplingly, ridiculously lost. This had something to do with her sealed memories, she thought... Whatever she did, the map of the school just wouldn't stick. She was fairly sure that she was somewhere in the eastern section of campus, but the clock tower wasn't visible through the trees any more, and thus her only point of reference was gone. She got around the problem most days by following a friend around, or not straying beyond the main areas with clear signs, but today she'd been feeling particularly energetic, and had decided to celebrate this with ten laps of the school.

And now she didn't remember where the dorms were. Didn't know where anything was, even. So she did the only thing she could think of, which was wander across the school, looking totally bewildered.

Confused didn't quite cover it. Somewhere along the line, she'd managed to fall into a bush. Her uniform looked like she'd fallen into at least ten, and then been mauled by some kind of large, ferocious animal that had a special hatred of blazers.

"Suzaku... Ah, so this isn't the way to the dorms?"

Damn.

"The dorms? No they are back that way," Suzaku pointed in the direction Sora had come from.

"Are you injured? Did you hit your head?" He looked worried, she looked like she had fallen a few times and was very confused.

"Oh," she looked back in the direction he pointed, "No, I'm just kind of hungry, and I haven't been able to find the dorms all day. But don't worry, I'm okay!"

More to the point, "Are you training?"

"Oh," how had she gotten so lost? They wern't that far from the dorms. "I have some bread..." He rumaged into his bag until he found the bread he had taken from breakfast, he handed it to Sora and nodded at the question about training.

[allurprincess]

Bread! Delicious mana of the gods. Sora took it gratefully, and dropped down to sit cross-legged. Because, as everyone knew, you could only concentrate on eating when you were sitting down.

"Thanks, Suzaku!"

[swordofzero]

"You're welcome," he watched as she sat down and started eating. "So how did you get so lost?"

[allurprincess]

Between mouthfuls of bread, she filled him in.

"Well... I went for a jog this morning. It was really fun, and I felt really energised! It's just that, when I finished, I couldn't remember how to get back. Weird, huh?"

[swordofzero]

That was strange... Very strange, not that memory loss was anything new in Utopia acedemy but why would Sora all of a suddon not know her way around. Unless they could take more memories from you. "That is strange, do you want me to take you back to the dorms?"

[allurprincess]

"I'll be okay now! They're that way, right?" She pointed with the hand not currently clutching the remaining piece of bread. Entirely the wrong way, too. If anything, her guess was more likely to take her towards the main entrance.

[swordofzero]

Suzaku raised an eyebrow, "No... they are that way," he pointed again in a completely different direction to where Sora was pointing. "Are you sure you didn't hit your head?" She looked like she had fallen a lot, maybe she had hit her head on a branch or something.

[allurprincess]

"Oh... Um. Pretty sure?"

She didn't sound it. "But I only fell once!"

[swordofzero]

Suzaku raised his eyebrow again; Sora was confused a lot. But mainly only in classes, he had never seen her so disorientated before.

"Maybe you should go to the infirmary?"

"I'm really okay," she smiled with what could probably be termed Full Confidence, and then stood up and brushed herself off.

... And turned the way she'd pointed originally. "Thanks for the directions, and the bread! I'll see you at dinner." Off she went, too fast to be caught.

An hour later, and she stumbled back in. She'd apparently lost her blazer completely at some point, and her socks had seen better millenia.

"... Weren't you training somewhere else before?"

"No! They're not..." But Sora had already gone. Suzaku sighed and went back to training. Hopefully Sora would find somewhere at least, or someone to take her back to the dorms. Suzaku went back to training.

***[An hour or so later]***

Apparantly not... Suzaku blinked as Sora reappeared in the clearing. "Uh... No it was this clearing... Did you get lost again?"

"Ah, you're right... I really thought I'd gotten it right this time." She looked around the clearing again, just in case she hadn't been mistaken, and then slumped. "Oh well."

[swordofzero]

Suzaku sighed, "I think you need to come to the infirmary, I can take you there."

He wasn't taking no for an answer this time, she was obviously concussed or something.

[allurprincess]

It was kind of like having an older brother, all of a sudden. She blinked for a few moments, about to protest that she felt absolutely okay, and then noticed his expression.

Nope, that was a few shades above 'determined'.

"Okay..."

[swordofzero]

Suzaku nodded glad that Sora did not argue. "Come on, this way," he gestured hoping that she could retain her sense of direction enough to follow him.

Rather than trailing after him, she jogged to catch up and stayed by his side, if slightly behind to watch for directional cues.

"It's weird... it feels like a while since the last time we talked." She tilted her head, and made a quiet 'hmm' under her breath, "Ah, right! How's Euphie?"

[swordofzero]

Suzaku kept an eye on Sora, he didn't want her wandering off and getting lost. "Euphie is fine," he smiled, "Ah do you have a player this round?"

He thought she probably did, he could remember seeing Yuki's name on the screens.

[allurprincess]

"I'm with Yuki this time," she nodded, arms swinging by her side. "It's really useful that they keep getting chosen, though... Maybe it's because they want to make up for our academy!"

[swordofzero]

Suzaku nodded, "Maybe," he didn't even pretend to guess what those who had kidnapped them were thinking.

They were soon out of the forest and headed towards the infirmary.

[allurprincess]

"It's not fair to make them fight, though," she added, after they'd been walking for a while. They'd almost reached the infirmary, and Sora had been picking leaves out of her ponytail and off her shirt for most of the silence.

"Yuki's amazing, but she hasn't been sleeping well... I wish I could still fight for her."

Suzaku nodded, it wasn't really fair to make anyone fight, especially those that wern't trained. Lelouch always said that the only ones who could be shot were those prepared to shoot, but this place forced people to fight who usually wouldn't.

"Maybe you could..." He had thought about this, because if Lelouch became a player at all, well Lelouch could not fight, he had about managed in a Knightmare Frame but outside of one he did not have much chance of winning a fight, and he didn't want Euphemia fighting either. "Maybe, if our player drew our weapon but then we fought hand to hand beside them. There's nothing in the rule book to say weapons can't fight, they just can't use weapons."
