Characters: Suzaku and people
Format: I'm writing prose but you can write whatever you feel like
This log is: open
Location: Black floor 1 common room
Summary: Suzaku fails at attempts biology homework
Warnings: None
Suzaku sat in the corner of the downstairs common room in the Black dorm building. Spread out in front of him was a couple of textbooks and a lot of paper. He frowned, he had never found biology easy but this! He hadn't even seen half of these plants before in his life and was starting to suspect they didn't even exist in his world.

Other worlds, the idea was terrifying when Suzaku stopped long enough to think about it, other worlds with other animals and other plants from what he knew. He blinked at the question again, he had no idea; he sighed heavily and read through the textbook again.

Lelouch laughed to himself, at Xingke's expense more than anyone else's. "How easily we forget when one believes the words of the enemy. I am, and always have been, Zero." The reactions of the pair of Rounds had not gone unnoticed, but Xingke's should prove interesting yet.

Emperor Lelouch was... Zero?

No, that couldn't be right... Lelouch was a Britannian prince, one that had devoted himself to obtaining power in the most bloody and violent way he possibly could. With Suzaku as his knight he had-

As Xingke thought of a billion and one reasons for why Lelouch could not be Zero, he noticed two things. The first being the reactions of Gino and Suzaku and the second being his scattered notes. Childish drawings which looked up at him from the table, drawings designed to help him remember how to read.

Another lost memory.

Settling one hand onto the table, as if to steady himself, Xingke forced himself to regain his composure. At least so he could face the other man properly. "Whether you are Zero or not, you lost claim to the Black Knights when you chose the throne of Britannia. No one nation has the right to the armies of the U.F.N." He replied coldly, cursing his loss of composure.

"You wanna fight, wait for--" Wait, what? Again, and again, the faint flicker in his eyes appeared that meant the memory loss was hard at work. At least Gino, who seemed to trip over a lost memory once a day, recognised the moment of disorientation for what it was by now. After the third wipe, he huffed.

"Don't know about you, Seven, but I'm getting a little tired of this..."

Lelouch looked over to Suzaku and Gino. He was done riling up Xingke, now it was time to watch the memory fade. It was a bit like Geass that way, he noticed. "The creatures that came up in class do not exist anywhere in the Empire's reach. They must be related to someone else's." He turned to sit back in his chair near Suzaku.

He was being ignored, he was- ... what... were they even talking about?

As Xingke stared blankly at Lelouch who went to take a seat, for a moment he could only desperately try to hold onto that thread of important information in vain before it slipped out of his grasp.

Though he'd never say as much aloud, he agreed with Gino. He was getting sick of this. Still, without knowing what it was he was supposed to be mad about, there was no point in pressing the point. One thing was for certain though, he had no interest in staying in the same room as the former Britannian Emperor. So instead he moved to gather up his papers and... he blinked.

On the top sheet, something had been scratched onto the surface. A circle? No, more oval in shape. Uneven and... hmm...

"Yeah?" Gino's friendliness had been mostly restored by this point, though there was a certain edge in his voice that betrayed an unusual level of frustration. "I already asked the other guys, and their homes don't have turtle-seals either-- you going?" The edge was back as he grinned over at Xingke. "Come on, man. We've all gotta finish this work."
