Biology homework [Open]
Characters: Suzaku and peopleSuzaku sat in the corner of the downstairs common room in the Black dorm building. Spread out in front of him was a couple of textbooks and a lot of paper. He frowned, he had never found biology easy but this! He hadn't even seen half of these plants before in his life and was starting to suspect they didn't even exist in his world.
Format: I'm writing prose but you can write whatever you feel like
This log is: open
Location: Black floor 1 common room
Summary: Suzakufails atattempts biology homework
Warnings: None
Other worlds, the idea was terrifying when Suzaku stopped long enough to think about it, other worlds with other animals and other plants from what he knew. He blinked at the question again, he had no idea; he sighed heavily and read through the textbook again.

But, whatever. Hitting again. He lifted the stick, and swung, a little less violently than the first time.

"Now your turn, I'll go slow," he went into the stance he had shown Kotarou and stepped forward slowly bringing his sword downwards, he was ready to pull back if the kid froze and it was aimed more for his shoulder than anywhere just in case.

"Ready," he moved forwards again with the same strike, a little slower this time.

"I need a better stick."

Suzaku forced another smile, "The stick has nothing to do with it Kotarou, it is just a tool, your body is the real weapon." He dropped his own stick on the floor.
"Here I'll show you, attack me with your stick again. If your words are true then even a bad stick is better than no stick right?"
no subject
"I need a better body, too," he ventured, just in case that would excuse his not being immediately perfect at swordfighting. That said, he gripped his inadequate stick again and attacked Suzaku's knees.

"That's what training is for, to make your body stronger so it is a good weapon. No one can just pick up a sword and be good at it without years of practice."
no subject
"I haven't got years," he went back into the stance, scowling, "I've got to be a good weapon now."
no subject
He picked up his stick again, "Now try and block again." He did the same movement, a downward strike slowly aimed at Kotarou's shoulder.

It was something he'd seen Nanashi do enough times.

Kotarou was walking slightly ahead of Suzaku, stick still clutched in one hand as he swung it around in an imaginary battle. "Do you think I'll have to fight soon?"

"Lelouch's weapon is his mind," he told the kid, "He is always a few steps ahead of his opononent and so it is difficult to fight against him."

Of course large scale tactics were much more complicated then that but Suzaku didn't really understand them though, he doubted Kotarou would either.

"So it's just tricking people."
He approved of that. Pity it was Lelouch they were talking about, because he'd never openly agree with that particular boy. Ever.
