[Mikoto is a little bit too focused on climbing the tree right now to notice Mai. She just wants to get away from everyone and up a tree is the closest thing she has to it right now. But when Mai approaches, that's when Mikoto notices. She's an animal, a wounded animal on high alert of their surroundings. Her head turns in the other girl's direction, but instead of running away, she stays her ground. Running away would mean nothing.]

So you've come to mock me, Mai?
