Characters: Lelouch vi Britannia, Suzaku Kururugi, Shoryu, AND YOU
Format: Going action taggy mainly because I'm tired. If you want prose, I'll do it.
This log is: open
Location: Black dorm common room
Summary: Manipulation and exposition
Warnings: See above
[Lelouch is chillin' in the common room of the Black dorm, studying. Well, not studying anything related to any class taught on campus. Instead, he has several cook books spread out on the coffee table, and he has one on his lap over crossed legs. He's trying to figure out what is off in his cooking.]
[Pleas bother him.]

No? I suppose it can get confusing with so many new faces. [oh, did he forget to actually give his name. How silly of him.]

/suddenly a Lloyd B)
How unlucky for Lelouch.]
Lelouch! [The scientist strolls over to them. Well. Over to Lelouch, really, because he hasn't even glanced at Shoryu. The King of En hasn't even registered on the radar yet.] Hey, hey, could you write my name down on something for me? I keep forgetting it~.
[Yeah, sounds like he's more amused by that memory loss than worried...]
Have some more intruders!
Luckily, Enki had met Suzaku right outside and he'd followed him back in.]
Have you been having a dis--- [Enki grimaces as he realizes just who he's talking to, again, as his knees buckle. Thankfully, Suzaku stops him before he gets very far, but that almost briefly makes him want to jerk from Suzaku's grip and get down in a proper kneel.
But it's not as if the idiot hasn't been kneeled to enough. With a narrow stare at the guy in the lab coat, the black-haired young man Enki doesn't like the feeling of, and Shōryū, he gets up properly again.]
... As I was saying, a discussion about war, or [he glaces at the books] literature in here? [A pointedly raised eyebrow at Shōryū goes right here.]
Thanks, Suzaku... [Enki adds quietly to the teenager at his side. Even if it felt wrong to have the kneel interuppted.]

They entered the comon room, Suzaku raised his eyebrows to see Lelouch, Shōryū and Lloyd there. Then Enki toppled next to him, Suzaku didn't really understand why but Enki had told him that he had to bow whenever he learnt who his king was, which, without the memory was every time he saw Shōryū.
Steadying the Kirin Suzaku looked from one person to another wondering what was going on.]

[While he's working, he just watches the exchange between Suzaku and Enki, giving the former a small nod in greeting.]

[... oh look, people. Well, if he's going to be ignored, that's just fine. And look, here are more of their retainers. He glances at the name as the boy writes it, and then goes back to his book as Enki grumbles at them.]
Watch your manners. Is there a war I should be discussing?
no subject
Yeah, it's a list of Players.]
Aha. So I am one this round.
[THIS CLEARS A FEW THINGS UP.]
no subject
Not as far as I know. An' who is it who doesn't have any manners? You haven't even introduced me... Shall I take a guess, instead?
[Enki looks the young, black-haired boy over, not in the least bit concerned in making him collateral in this verbal sparring. It's not as if it's gonna hurt anyone.]
Your consort? No, that seems a bit sudden... Your son, perhaps? [His face is perfectly straight. Ignore the snarky tone under that straight face.]

[Sighs at Lloyd.] This place made you forget your own name? [Went along with the name writing because if he hadn't, Lloyd would have just been more annoying for a longer period.]
[But hasn't forgotten his manners.] Shouryu, [See, he knew your name!] this is Earl Lloyd Asplund and my knight, Sir Kururugi Suzaku. Though I believe you two have already met?
no subject
Sir Suzaku and I have met, yes. [mainly because the boy is easily manipulated by kirins, but clearly Lelouch knows that. Lloyd gets a nod, but he doesn't seem particularly interested in Shōryū and he returns the favour.] Lelouch, this is Enki, the kirin of En and my taiho.

[If he didn't need his name to know that he's a Player, he probably wouldn't even be asking for someone to write what it is down. It wasn't important before now! He'll take the bit of paper once Lelouch is done writing.
He'll give the king and his kirin a curious look at the round of introductions, but, really, he has no interest in them. He'll give them a little finger-wiggling wave before twirling back towards the doors to stroll off again. The scientist waves the slip of paper with his name on in the air as he goes.]
Bye-bye, everyone~.
no subject
But now that Shōryū has seen fit to introduce him (but not himself, don't think he didn't notice that, Shōryū!), Enki supposes he has to at least make a show of politeness.
Which translates into a nod in Lelouch's direction and then he turns to Suzaku, an eyebrow raised, doubt heavy in his voice as he speaks. He doesn't like this one. Doesn't even have Shōryū's adamant greed of his people being like his own self.]
That's the one? He's really important enough for you? [A look at Lelouch again and then back to Suzaku.] Maybe. [Enki finally relents, but there's a faint haze of blood in the air, and ghostly strains of hate.
That one is like any other ruler, Enki can feel it from here. And there is no proof he's even remotely like Shōryū.]
no subject
He bristles a bit because Enki had never met Lelouch and seems to dislike him instantly. Suzaku hadn't said anything against Lelouch, unlike what Enki had said about his king.
At least Lelouch had never forced him to fight, that was a choice Suzaku had made alone. He glared at Shōryū when he remembered that and then looked back to Enki]
He's important enough to rule Britannia, which covers half the world. [It probably didn't help that his voice was bitter when he said Britannia or that he didn't actually look happy about the fact, the plans of Zero Requiem, his head went fuzzy at the name, swirled in his mind. He looked away, not meeting anyones eyes.]
