Plastic Tubes and Pots and Pans
Characters: Lloyd and all these meddling kids.
Format: Starting action, but pick your poison.
This log is: OPEN
Location: THE LABactually it's just a workroom he's taken over but shut up
Summary: Lloyd's been scarce around the campus since the round change! Because he's been working in his new lab or whatever.
Warnings: lloydness.
[One of the once-empty school workrooms -- one with an outside facing door rather than it being connected inwardly to a hall -- has had it's windows taped over entirely. One of the double doors has a doorstop (that is, a rock) wedged between them to let some air in and from that crack in the door, light is visible.
Past the doors? The room looks like it got hit by a whirlwind of junk. The worktables are covered with all sorts of scrap parts and wires pilfered and dismantled from whatever device could go missing without too much notice. The entire lighting setup has been changed and that's terribly obvious, because the person who changed it hasn't put the ceiling tiles back in place yet. A computer has found it's way from the computer lab to what should have been the teacher's desk. A second one is partially pulled apart nearby.
And so on and so on. What a mess.
Lloyd is at the desk as well, crouched over whatever it is he's working on, a lamp that's been attached to the desktop pulled down close to keep it well lit.]

Lloyd keeps on working. He's carefully dismantling what appear to be cameras. That shouldn't be much of a surprise, considering Sherlock had seen the design he'd been working on before.

"How is the experiment progressing?" he asks, when he is sure he can keep the wistful note out of his voice.

He gestured down at the ruins of the camera he'd been working to pry apart and sighs. "Not so well. Everything's gone blurry! How strange is that?" Which might have something to do with how he isn't wearing the glasses he'd had when they met before. No, they're sitting on the far edge of the desk, forgotten.
Quite literally.

Lloyd accepts the glasses from him and gives them a confused stare. Random glasses from his desk, problem with vision, oh yeah, he puts the two right together and sighs. He unfolds the glasses and puts them back on.
Muuuch better.
"Why does it feel like they chose the most annoying things for me to forget?"

He got back to work.
"I saw that you've already joined up with someone else, but that's fine. I'm not certain if this'll be ready for testing before the round ends."

Which he never demanded when he was going to be the one getting experimented on. Oh, Sherlock.

"If push comes to shove, next round could even find someone to draw my own weapon for it."
Even better if Sherlock ends up as a Player for the round the EMP device is finished. That would take care of the problem right there!
