Koharu had a dozen little things cooking. Little chicken legs are browning, slices of cheese and ham cut into little shapes. Green beans and little baby carrots were simmering and little broccoli florets were cut up already.

"I wonder if Sora or Yuki would like edamame." She tapped her lips with her finger, contemplating and then discarding. The chicken was already enough protein and then she could put little tomato flowers in as well.

Predictably, lured as she was by the smell of chicken and vegetables, Sora arrived a little while later. And set a new record for time taken to cross a kitchenette. She looked the spread over in pure delight, and lifted the lid on the beans and carrots for a second to peer inside.

"Wow, Koharu!"

"Do you like it?" Koharu beamed and started pulling out the bento boxes and pulling the kitchen off the heat to cool.

"You like chicken right? If not I can give Yuki extra chicken and maybe save the rest and give you soybeans instead. Or eggs, i could cook some eggs for you."

"Those all sound good..." She watched Koharu pack up with the intensity of a hopeful puppy, an impression her tone of voice only added to. "And Yuki really likes your chicken."

"Do you want an egg?" Before Sora could really answer, Koharu had scurried over to her stash of boiled eggs, made earlier that week for just such an occasion and started cutting it carefully in a zigzag pattern.

"Ah if she really likes it, I'll give her some of my share and I'll just take some extra vegetables. And then..." Koharu's voice trailed off as she thought and then carefully pulled the bits of the egg apart and pressed sesame seeds in for eyes. A tiny bit of carrot made a beak and it was placed between some carrots and a tomato flower.

"Do you want flowers on your rice or a giraffe?" This is a completely valid question really.

That was an evil choice, too. If Sora could, she'd ask for everything. But, being the dutiful dependent she was, she thought it over properly.

"Giraffe, please!" Somewhere in that answer, Sora had attached herself to Koharu in a loose bear-hug and buried her face in her hair. Her voice was a little muffled from thereonout. "I'll have a flower next time."

Koharu made a little happy noise at the hug, her smile widening as she carefully began cutting out various types of cheese. The rice was carefully packed, all without moving from Sora's arms. She loved being hugged, but she did have to pack their lunches.

"Here we'll put little sakura blossoms up in the top." They were just little blossoms cut out of ham in the corner with sesame seeds set on them like the pistils in the flower. But she thought they were cute.

"So you can have both!"

And she could have a Sora attachment whilst she packed them. She was obliging enough as she moved her arms to let Koharu walk and pick things up, and there was enough of Koharu's hair that she could snuggle it even at a more considerate angle.

Although even Sora had to stop and peer around at the little flowers. Would Koharu ever stop being amazing? She doubted it.

"Ahh, they're so cute. Thanks, Koharu!"

Sora's praise always lifted her spirits, even if the words sparked a mini-fantasy. Something about Koharu and certain things that are cute and this position didn't help. Luckily nothing was cooking during this, so food was mercifully saved.

She'd had to throw out two things of vegetables last time.

"Thank you Sora. Is that all you'd like in there for now?" She managed after she came back to earth.

"That's all!" She parroted back, already conjuring daydreams of eating the bento later. Why was lunch so far away? Time was so mean. She snuggled a little more, then blinked and moved a hand to Koharu's forehead. "Ah, you're really warm..."

"Ah...I'm fine." Koharu leaned into the snuggling, abandoning the other bentos for a moment in favor of Sora cuddles. They were the best after all.

A wild Tomoko was also lured into the kitchen by the scents of delicious food. She peeked around the corner into the room and- Oh, good! There were two of her favorite faces. She went ahead and pranced on in.

"H-hello!"

Pranced in, and was cheerfully hooked by one hand and tugged into a trio snuggle session. Had Sora even checked who it was before she caught them? Who knew. Probably not. She beamed anyway.

"Hi, Tomoko!"

Koharu was a little startled by the sudden addition to the snuggling but she gladly let Tomoko in. A cute little Tomoko was always welcome--oh wait.

"Oh Tomoko, did you want me to make you lunch?" She reached out and petted one of those cute little ponytails.

"Hello Himoto-san, Izaki-san!" She wasn't even surprised to be yanked into a snuggle pile. Not after seeing that Sora was in the room. Her ponytail gave a nice little wag when Koharu petted it, and her head bobbled in a nod.

"Lunch? Yes please!"

"Koharu's lunches are the best~" Sora agreed, the hand not currently around Koharu's shoulders going to rest on Tomoko's head. "She made eggs!"
