Koharu had a dozen little things cooking. Little chicken legs are browning, slices of cheese and ham cut into little shapes. Green beans and little baby carrots were simmering and little broccoli florets were cut up already.

"I wonder if Sora or Yuki would like edamame." She tapped her lips with her finger, contemplating and then discarding. The chicken was already enough protein and then she could put little tomato flowers in as well.

"Huh? Oh, um, I like both... I can cook a little..." Learning how was part of her mother's training her to be feminine.

...though why she'd done that, Miwako couldn't quite... put her finger on. It had something to do with... But it was all blurry.

She shook her head a little, and smiled slightly. "Do you need some help?"

"Only if you'd like to. Watching is fine if you don't. Not everyone likes to cook even if they can, right?" Koharu turned off the rice, letting it rest as she checked the vegetables again.

"Ah, okay." Miwako nodded. She really didn't feel like it... she'd probably just get in the way. So she hung back and watched.

"Er, I'm Miwako. What's your name?"

"Oh--I'm sorry, I didn't introduce myself. Ah, my name is Koharu. It's very nice to meet you!"

"It's... it's nice to meet you, too, thank you."

Koharu's attention was grabbed back by the chicken, but after a moment she held up a little peice of chicken.

"Would you like to try it--oh I'm sorry, you don't have to if you don't eat chicken, it's fine."

"Ah, I don't mind chicken! I can eat pretty much anything," Miwako replied, though she was taken by surprise. "Er, all right, if you'd like..." Tentatively, she reached a hand out.
