Suzaku stood silently so many people had disapeared and he wasn't as sure as Sora that they had simply gone home. Surely if people were escaping those that kept them here would have done something by now. They wern't leaving, they were just blinking out of existance, like the girl in the tournament ring. The school obviously knew about it because they had mentioned that some people had left and left some things behind.

What if they were taking them from here to be part of another experiment? Suzaku did not voice his thoughts outloud because he did not want to worry Sora.

He nodded at her words but felt another wave of sadness, because even if he managed to escape and get back home he would never see Euphemia again. He didn't say that either because he didn't want to heap more sadness onto Sora.

"I'm glad you met her too, and I am glad I met Yuki..." His voice caught again and his hand trembled on Sora's shoulder. He didn't cry though, he wanted to but tears didn't come.
