It has reached the point where Sherlock can't quite remember when he last got a good night's sleep. Which means it was probably sometime last week. The dark circles under his eyes are increasingly prominent.

His ability to play the violin is thus far unimpeded, however, so that is precisely what he does. The window is open far enough to admit the sound of rain, but the rain itself is light enough to stay out of doors where it belongs.
