[Round 3, Rest Day] And They Said: Let There Be No Light.
Characters: ALLIt's early in the morning when it happens, about six o'clock. The clouds were gathering gradually through the night, the rain only getting heavier from the near-constant downpour during the previous week. Lightning crackles across the sky, the water around the academy is violent and the waves are high. And in a particularly loud clap of thunder, what lights were still on go out and the academy is plunged into darkness.
Format: ANY
This log is: OPEN
Location: ALL OF CAMPUS
Summary: In a flash of lightning and the deafening roll of thunder, the power goes out across Utopia Academy.

He at least kept his steps quiet as he approached her bed near the window. She had freakishly good hearing, so he didn't have to worry about surprising her.
"You awake?"
Re: meanwhile in 1-A
"Ah... yes, the thunder woke me up. Is something wrong?"

YOU BRING THIS UPON YOURSELF 8|
"GINO! The thing above us is attacking. We need to stop it."
The figure balancing on the window sill? Mei, soaked through and through, not unlike a very wet, very angry little kitten. That only added to the absurdity, but she didn't realize it. She was serious. Serious. She had no idea what the storm was, or the rain, thanks to the game's twisted memory loss, and so she assumed it must be an attack.
How had she found the exact window of the dorm that Gino would be in?
Well, Mei's probably a ninja, so why are you even asking.

He abandoned his post on Nunnally's bed to cross to the open window and peer out, and snagged one of the room's large fluffy towels on the way. So he could drop it over Mei's determined face. Priorities.

She struggled with the towel he had dropped over her for a moment and pulled it off of her head. "Giiinoo, I'm seriouuus." Like oh my gaw. Nonetheless, she hops off the windowsill and into the room proper. That left Gino with a clear view of who else was wandering past in the storm!

He brightened. It was a horrible sight. If he'd had a tail, it would have started wagging. The kid looked like a drowned cat, and that meant one thing when the windows to the dorms were this large.
"Rescue!" He called, the only warning Kevin got before he was tugged closer to the window by his nearest arm and then bodily pulled into the room to be deposited on Mei's discarded towel to drip in peace. "There some kind of party going on outside?" The window shut behind him with a snap of the lock.

"WHA-!" Was all Kevin got out before he was both yanked and lifted through a window. (A window!?) Landing ass first onto the towel to cough and splutter his indignation, the soaked youth then scowled up at his assaulter. While on one hand he was now finally out of the rain, on the other he was stuck with-
"GINO!" Was all Kevin managed as he hissed like the cat Gino had pictured him as. Quickly slicking back wet bangs and replacing his sunglasses (he'd put them on through sheer force of habit,) the youth's eyes flickered off to the side and noticed two others.
More importantly, two other girls. His frown deepened. "What the heck are you doing?"

What had Gino called it?
"The sky."
Yes. The child over there wringing water out of her braids just said that. She really did.

"As long as you're not out in it, right?" This was punctuated with the towel dropping over Kevin's carefully slicked back hair and drying it off, with the added bonus of the rest of the towel muffling any objections the kid might raise. "Anyway, I don't think any of the other guys in this room will care if you two stay here."
He nudged Mei so she'd head towards Nunnally's bed. She was an acceptable second line of defense. Kevin not so much, but he'd do in a pinch. Once he was dry.

... yet.
Or never. As it was, with his objections successfully muffled under the painful assault on his head (what was it with Gino and his head!?) all Kevin could do was flail uselessly under the rough treatment and try to swat at Gino.
"Gino get the- mmph- hell away from- OW- me!"
