[Round 3, Rest Day] And They Said: Let There Be No Light.

Characters: ALL
Format: ANY
This log is: OPEN
Location: ALL OF CAMPUS
Summary: In a flash of lightning and the deafening roll of thunder, the power goes out across Utopia Academy.
It's early in the morning when it happens, about six o'clock. The clouds were gathering gradually through the night, the rain only getting heavier from the near-constant downpour during the previous week. Lightning crackles across the sky, the water around the academy is violent and the waves are high. And in a particularly loud clap of thunder, what lights were still on go out and the academy is plunged into darkness.

"Candles aren't very bright, are they? If we had a flashlight, or a-- Aah! There were matches in the kitchen!" Brilliant idea, Sora. "I'll go get them."

But you don't know how to make a fire. No matter, the girl was already crashing her way out of the room and towards the kitchenette.

Making a fire (anyone else in Red 1A if they like!)

Romeo blinked at Sora he had no idea what a flashlight or matches were but as she ran out he hopped off the bed and went towards the fire. He could at least start making a fire until Sora found the matches, Romeo guessed that they were some sort of light.

He knelt down by the fire, he knew the chimney was clear, he had climbed up it a few times since being here. He looked around for some paper to start a fire, really they needed coal or wood, he guessed they could get wood in the forest but it would be wet and he had no idea where to get coal from.

He grabbed some of the paper that one of his teachers had given him. He had no idea what was written on it, but since he had forgotten how to read they were useless to him. He started scrunching them up and putting them on the fire. He worked quietly trying not to wake anyone who was trying to sleep.
