[Round 3; Day 4] Write down the things you can't remember.

Summary: Kallen's leaning against the windowsill with a notebook trying to remember the things she's forgotten.
Warnings: N/A

This was starting to get annoying. Ten memories lost, only one of them gained, and hints about the others she lost. Kallen had forgotten how to write her last name in kanji, and through Euphemia, she was able to regain it. Outside of that, she had a lingering feeling that she shouldn't be calling Suzaku her friend or remotely getting close to him. Although she couldn't remember how or why or what the reason could have been. Eating a sandwich was a problem, along with putting on a bra, so she was sure she couldn't remember those. And thanks to Gino (which was something not to be thanked for), she couldn't recognize people and their faces when looking at pictures of them.

Seriously, this was annoying.

She looked down at her list that looked something like this:


- Last name.
- Bra
- Sandwich
- Suzaku
- People's faces in pictures.

Of course, the list wouldn't make any sense to anyone looking over her shoulder at it.

Five down and five more to go.

"Okay, who's this?" Gino appeared out of apparently nowhere (though a sustained investigation would reveal that he'd just come down the stairs) and waved a photo in front of her. It had taken him about five minutes to work out how to use the self-timer, but he'd done it eventually. "Recognise him?"

Kallen almost jumped out the window. Why did he seriously have to come out of NOWHERE. The book she was writing in dropped to the floor, a few pages turning as it landed. As she picked it back up, she looked at the picture.

Blue eyes stared at Gino and then back at the picture. "No, I don't know who it is. Why? Are you looking for them?"

"Man, they really messed you up with this one." Gino pointed between himself and the photo, in case that triggered it. "You don't recognise this guy at all?"

"No. What are you getting at Gino? You been asking me these questions since the other day."

[trollofthree]

"Just curious," he replied, lightly, and stooped over to pick her notebook up. "They're good at picking inconvenient memories to take."

[queenscheckmate]

"What do you mean?"

[trollofthree]

"You and 'Seven', for one. I'm surprised you haven't punched him yet, so that's gotta be a lost one. Makes it hard to hate the guy when you're all friendly."

He flipped the notebook back to its most recent page, and blinked.

And blinked again, this time with a grin. "That's quite a list."

"You mean Suzaku. Why would I punch him? You did that to him and I was inclined to stop you. I don't hate him. Should I?" Maybe that was what she had forgotten until the though let her mind.

She didn't notice that Gino had taken the notebook from her and started flipping through the pages. A blush rose to her face as she snatched the book back into her possession. "Don't take things that aren't yours!"

"Oi, wait-- give me that back for a second." He tugged it back, and managed to snag her pen quickly afterwards.

Just to scrawl I don't like ta l s the knight of zero under the list. After that she could have it back. "What's that second one?"

"Gino!" He really needs to learn not to be in people's personal information. Again she took the book back and put it behind her.

Nope, he wasn't letting it out of mind that easily. But he could at least pretend to, for now. If she was pushed any further she'd probably jump out of a window. He took the photo out of his pocket again and scribbled Gino Weinberg! ---> next to his face, and then held it out as a peace offering.

"Right, sorry. Here you go. You should get other people to do the same."

Kallen hesitantly took the picture. She looked at what he had written and then looked up at him. "What's this for?"
