[Round 4: Day 2] Afternoon by the lake

[So she had a player, check one on the requirements for the round. Dessert and general access were within her grasp which was nice, but this place was strangely far more boring than home. No one for Sora to rush out and save. She could just sit at the lake eating her afternoon snack in utter peace]

It's quiet this round.

Is that so? That might be nice, it's sort of lonely here.

It's always lively when I'm around~. Just give me time to get used to the place~.

[willbeurprincess]

I don't think that will take long, but it is based on my school...I didn't have much to get used to.

[ergaleomancer]

Mm, this place is very different to my home, on the other hand.

Is it? What was yours like?

Well for one thing, there certainly weren't as many plants, not to mention the lake... I don't think any standing water is safe to go near in my home...

The air smells strange here, much less sulphur than I'm used to, and it's so clear, I don't think there's any smog here at all...

[willbeurprincess]

It's called clean air. [laughs] You must have come from a city.

[ergaleomancer]

London. It's one of the worst in the world, sadly. We haven't had flowers in a hundred miles of the city in...sixty or eighty years... I know it was forty years ago that most of the rest of the plants died off...

[willbeurprincess]

I didn't think it was that bad at our London, but I am from Japan. It's nice to meet someone from a new place though.

[ergaleomancer]

Is that so? ...I wonder how the environment was protected in your world... How strange.

I've never met anyone from Japan. I thought all of you had black hair? [[Theta doesn't mean to sound rude or racist, she's just painfully blunt.]]

[She pauses and laughs a little] My mother wasn't Japanese but some have browner hair than black. We do tend to have hair in similar shades though

Oh. Where was your mother from? [[See, she's just trying to get to know you. She just fails forever at politeness unless she's really, really making an effort.]]

Somewhere in Europe. I never really learned where, she didn't like to talk about it.

Oh. That's a shame. But now you're getting far more than one country's worth of extra culture, what with people coming in from all manner even of different worlds.

[willbeurprincess]

It's true. I've learned quite a lot. Grenn is from the future I think, which is strange, but very very interesting.

The future of your own world? You're lucky. I wonder how many others are from my world here...

[willbeurprincess]

I don't think it's the same world as mine, but it's a future relative to my time?

[ergaleomancer]

Still, that's amazing. I wonder if people would think I'm from the future or the past... It's 2008 the year I left home.
