( Why are you in class? Oh, does this mean class should be starting already? Unfortunately, it looks like your teacher is running very a little late. )

ＤＵＲＩＮＧ ＣＬＡＳＳ
( About fifteen minutes later, Spain will waltz into class, unaware of how late he is. It isn't until he's half way into the class that he'll notice that everyone is pretty much settled down and ready to which he'll remark, )

Ah, good! Everyone is ready.

Today in class we'll go over. . . ( Staring at the board. And at the map posters on the wall. ) Oh, well, this is a bit embarrassing.

( You see, he hasn't really thought this far ahead. So he turns around to the class with a smile and says, )

What do you want to learn today?

ＡＦＴＥＲ ＣＬＡＳＳ
( Class really shouldn't be over yet but it is. It looks like Spain has ended class about twenty minutes early and he insists he ended class on time. You can talk to him after class or mingle with others. Spain will be cleaning up the room as everyone leaves.

Also, there is no homework tonight. )

Have you thought about picking up a hobby? Football, perhaps?

Haha, of course, no one really wants to learn about a bunch of old places and people, no? ( He leans against the board, hands supporting him, and smiles. CENTURIES AGO, Spain was also a student and back then, it was much more boring. ) What is useful to you?

I need to be able to take good care of my baby brother. Cook to feed him, steal to get food and clothes, raise him right, that sort of thing.

. . . Why do you have to steal?

[drawsdeath]

There's no money.

[countryofassholes]

[Have a stare at that long silence, Spain. She's not quite sure what she did to deserve that.]

Football isn't as fun and it's not really useful, is it? What's wrong with fighting?

[koyo]

( Football? Not fun? Get out, get out. )

Of course it is! What's wrong with football?

[koyo]

Hmm. Some times when you don't have money, the best way to make it is to steal it, I suppose.

( Spain, as a teacher, you should not be agreeing to this. )

It's not as interesting as fighting.

[drawsdeath]

Yeah. I'd get a job, but I'm only fifteen. Nowhere'd hire me.

[koyo]

No, no, you're wrong-- it's better. ( It's fun, competitive, you beat people, no one gets hurt (much). ) Ay, you almost sound like America, "My football is better!"

( If it isn't obvious by his tone and how animated he's become, Spain is pretty excited to be talking about soccer. )

[There's that comparison again. Her to America, it's starting to get a little irritating.]

Why do I say what? Oh, do you mean about football? ( Where does he even start. ) Are you familiar with the story behind the Olympic Games?

[traces]

E-excuse me, sir, but did you say "he"?

[koyo]

I did, yes.

( This is totally normal. )

"Oh!" Shion grinned, "I am Shion." He nodded, "I seem to be, at least from what I have heard of the worlds others come from, they are not the same as mine."

[koyo]

"Good morning, Shion." Spain says once he learned his name. "How is your world different?" He asked. Spain was very curious to find out more. Even in the past he had had an interest in new places and that hadn't changed.

"I have an idea; what if we all talk about where we're from."

[countryofassholes]

[You mean France's nakedness?]

Huh? Why would I be?

"Well, everyone I've talked to comes from places with countries or states, where I come from there are only six cities." He checked to make sure his teacher was following.

"There used to be countries and such, but everything got destroyed and so the cities were built to save us."

[koyo]

Many years ago in Greece, the city states would send their best athletes to compete in the games. During that time all wars were postponed to celebrate. Other countries had similar traditions but Greece's mother is the most famous.

( History lesson over, time for an explanation, )

She had the right idea. Fights are a lot of trouble. If you have a choice, why not have fun instead? Jaja, I could do anything but I'm the best at football.

[koyo]

"Only six?" There's a pause as Spain tried to take in that information. There were thousands of cities in the world but to think that only six would be left in the end? "Which ones?" Even if he can't remember which country he is right now, he would like to know for later.

[traces]

...That's a little strange, isn't it? Countries don't have genders.

[koyo]

Of course we do. And even if you aren't talking about us, many people like to talk about our houses as if they were women.

[traces]
