Time to catch up | Conquest dorms

Following the fight with that... troll, the last thing Lelouch wanted to do was sleep in that room. So he stayed in his own dorm lobby until very late, and made his way to Suzaku's sometime in the wee hours of the morning. He made himself comfortable on a couch, using a blanket he'd brought with him. He knew Suzaku was an early riser, so he didn't anticipate any trouble for his moving from one dorm to another. All he needed to do to was move the blanket and the remnants of his uniform would tell the story.

Why he was back, he didn't know. But he wasn't going back there anytime soon. He would at least have to speak with Dolorosa.

Lelouch suddenly sat bolt upright in bed. His hand went to his neck, and his eyes shot around to take in where he'd turned up. Back in his room. Fortunately, Gamzee's not here. He spotted the fresh uniform on his bedside table and rushed to put it back on.

There were unanswered questions. Who's blood was spilled in the room, who had done it, and where were Gamzee and Lelouch? It was strange being in the room as long as those questions remained open. Was it okay to stay in the room still? Should they find another place to go for now?

Spain had stayed the night in the lobby just in case. It wasn't a particularly restful night and he found himself waking up earlier than usual and still tired. He decided to go back to the room to see if anything had changed in the room. When he arrives, he sees that the blood is gone and there is someone else in the room-- his missing room mate. "When did you coem back?"

He jumped, but glared at Spain when he barged in. "Just now." It was the truth, even if he didn't elaborate on the hows and whys. His stomach turned in circles when he saw the little face written on the wall. He turned from it and continued buttoning his shirt. His hands were shaking a bit. He had to get out of here quicker than this.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Spain says with an apologetic smile.

"Where have you been?" He had been trying to find the others for some time to make sure they were well. Green eyes move from Lelouch to the face on the wall and back again. He won't talk about that for now but he notices Lelouch is different than normal.

"That is a more complicated question to answer than you think it is," he replied. "But trust me when I say it's in your best interest to stay away from Gamzee."

Spain wonders what Lelouch could possibly mean by that. "From the sound of things. . . we've been kidnapped from our worlds, brought to an island, and forced to fight with weapons drawn from our chests. I don't think anything could be more complicated than that." Of course, he's joking and he leans against the doorway, watching the other person curiously, "Did something happen to him?"

He nodded toward the :o) on the wall. "That's my blood. He killed me." He stuck his head in a mirror and started fixing his hair.
