Time to catch up | Conquest dorms
Following the fight with that... troll, the last thing Lelouch wanted to do was sleep in that room. So he stayed in his own dorm lobby until very late, and made his way to Suzaku's sometime in the wee hours of the morning. He made himself comfortable on a couch, using a blanket he'd brought with him. He knew Suzaku was an early riser, so he didn't anticipate any trouble for his moving from one dorm to another. All he needed to do to was move the blanket and the remnants of his uniform would tell the story.
Why he was back, he didn't know. But he wasn't going back there anytime soon. He would at least have to speak with Dolorosa.

She seemed to have no feelings whatsoever but she might have a sense of duty. Somehow Suzaku doubted it.

"I suppose it is true that I had not appreciated how dangerous this place was... and thought he would be able to handle himself... I know now."

It seemed unnecessarily amusing, suddenly, to have this absurd story in her head. "A Knight and the Princess he wished to save. Would that make me the demon lord?"

He blinked at her again... "Well he's a prince not a princess," he shrugged, "I guess," that was a disturbing thought, that she was the demon Lord, especially since she had powers to bring people pain, and was impossible to fight against, "Are you?"

She was interrupted by their arrival at the Pale building, and she paused to wait for him to open the door. "He really is a prince? My..."
no subject
"Yes he is, an Emperor actually though I believe he has forgotten that."
no subject
An emperor? Not according to the registers, but. Well. She didn't really care.
"My old home..." She murmured, as they entered the building. "1-B, if I recall. Shall we take the stairs?"
no subject
"How long were you here before you became a prefect?" Suzaku asked as they went up the stairs. Since she was here, he might as well see what he could learn.

Without much thought, she unbuttoned one of her shirt buttons and tugged it open to expose the centre of her chest. Or rather, what had probably once been a chest, but was now a blackened pit of burnt tissue. The mortal injury itself had vanished when she had woken up, but the initial wound left by the Akutou Bita remained. She smiled again, dissonant serenity. "As you can see, I am slightly difficult to kill..."
