As a Player this round, I am looking for weapons. Preferably, someone willing to fight, but I am also open to considering vowing with others simply for their sake. I have experience with many weapon types; however I may need to practice if your weapon is a sword.

I am open to responses here or I can be found in the courtyard for the remainder of the evening. Female, short hair, glasses.

[And one more thing...] Furthermore, if anyone tries to vow with Latvia or Lithuania, I suggest you treat them VERY well.

I will be here. [And Estonia, as advertised, will be sitting on a bench in the courtyard, just trying to take comfort in breathing the air. If she has to be trapped somewhere, she's glad she has access to the outdoors, at least. She can close her eyes and pretend.]

[And when the time comes, Estonia can be found already sitting out in the courtyard, trying to relax and playing around with her PDA.]

[Sis swiftly heads towards the courtyard, her stride graceful. She takes a deep breath in. The air is nice out here. Ah, there's a girl in the park. Perhaps this is who she was meeting today.]

Are you the individual I am looking for? We agreed to meet here in the courtyard to discuss a vow.

Yes, hi. [Estonia stands, moving forward to hold her hand out to the approaching female. The nation is of average hight, a little on the slender side, and doesn't look like much of a fighter. Have fun making assumptions.]

I'm Estonia. Nice to meet you.

Sis Strider.

[Sis is a woman of very little words. She extends her gloved hand, perhaps Miss Estonia wanted to shake hands? Either way. Sis is taller, long legs, long arms, lanky in a graceful kind of way. She's fit and conditioned for fight, no judgments will be made prior to Sis learning about Estonia, it's always good to know exactly who you're vowing to.] It is a great pleasure to meet you as well.

[Even though she's making no effort to hide the fact that she's evaluating Sis, Estonia gives a fairly polite smile as they shake hands.]

You were here last week, too, weren't you?

I'm recent.

[Very recent. She was pretty much instructed to get in here and jump into the action. She doesn't mind being evaluated, it won't bother her.]

Have you read the rule book?

Yes ma'am. I have read the rule book and have a clear understanding of what may be expected of me.

Excellent. [She pretty much devoured the rule book, herself, so she expects her weapons to have the same understanding of it.]

Are there any questions you want to ask before agreeing to this?

I have no further questions. However I will eagerly await further instruction from you.

[She would read the rule book over, to male triple sure.]

Good. Well, then, I intend to use and protect you as my Weapon, to the best of my abilities, for the duration of this round. Do you agree?

[smupette]

I agree. As your weapon for the duration of this round I will not let you down.

[About 5 minutes later, a young girl enters the foyer dressed in a series of clothes that can only be called futuristic. The pants are form fitting and made of some sort of shiny material that are soundless when she moves, ending in knee high boots with white clasps around the top. Her top seems to be made of the same material and covers her body from the wrists up to her throat with a similar clasp to keep the two folds together. Around her right wrist is a thick gray bracelet that looks electronic in nature.

When Theta sees Estonia, the blonde in the glasses, she heads on over and gives her a shameless look over, assessing her strength.]

You're the one who wanted to vow, right?

[independencesong]

You've got full menu and computer rights and all that. Just me sure to stay out of trouble.

[independencesong]

[Estonia, in her school uniform, is obviously enthralled by the stranger's getup. She's looking Theta over, none too subtly, but not unpleasantly. Setting her PDA aside, she stands, slender and lanky and with a general aura of 'nerd' that should be disarming for battle's sake, if nothing else.]

Yes, I am. [She does a quick adjustment of her glasses, then holds a hand out.] Estonia.

[For a minute Theta hesitates, watching that hand with cautious eyes. After a moment she finally takes it, giving it a quick hand clasp before letting go. Disarming or not, there's only one person in the world she trusts right now.]

... Theta. How long have you been here?

This is my second week. And yourself?

[graysniper]

Just got here. Anything I should know before we get started? [Not that she won't take anything said with a grain of salt, but older players are usually the best source of information in a place like this. She would have preferred someone with more experience than two weeks but... well, whatever.]

[independencesong]

Have you read the rulebook? That pretty well covers everything. This is round two, so pretty much everyone else is in the same boat in terms of newness, except for a few Prefects who've been here a lot longer.

[graysniper]

You mean that antique? I've touched the first two chapters.

[Because seriously, who uses books in this day and age? And for that matter, who even assimilates knowledge through written words anymore? Weird.]

[independencesong]

[Estonia wrinkles her nose. Don't say 'antique' like it might be a bad thing around someone who's been hording books since writing found its way to her region, years and years agp.]

You should finish it tonight. There are some interesting things to know.

[To the girl who's used to holographic touch screens and information transmitted directly to the brain through her neurons? It's an antique.]

I'll give it a shot but it's been an eon since anyone's used those letters. You're lucky I even knew it.

I can read it to you, if you'd prefer. It's just something I prefer my Weapons to know.

[She's already been teaching her little brother to read for the past week. Everything is weird, but she'll adjust.]
