( Spain is in the cafeteria, sitting with his head on the table. He's mumbling things to himself in Spanish along the lines of "I forgoooot. This isn't faaaaair." Whatever it is, he sounds pretty miserable. After some time, he whines in English, )

[Becca sits down with a tray full of the discards' food.]

There's plenty of food. Even for discards.

( And here Madoka is with a tray of food for the lunch hour. She can't help slowing her pace to a stop when she notices the familiar person --a teacher was it?-- at the Discard table.

It's rather hard to miss the whining and even harder to turn away from it, not that Madoka would ever be capable of something like that. So with a glance, she hurries over and sets her tray down with a smile. )

Um, excuse me, do you want one of my sandwiches? I also got some fruit and juice you can have.

The food sucks, right?

[Alfred is pouting at his breakfast as if that alone might change it into something that looks more palatable. He doesn't show any sign of recognizing Spain at all, even though Al looks like he's America, just if he were fifteen.]

They remind me of rations.

( He looks up, wondering who it is. When he hears her offer, he raises his head some, )
