[Okay this rights thing? Complete and total bull shit. It hadn't bothered her at first, because she didn't care what kind of food she was eating because it was all human food. But when she tries to go to the library and is turned away because she doesn't have permission? Fuck that. It had taken almost all of her resistance to not curb stomp the person that had denied her entrance. She's trying to be less of a terrible person. So instead she'd stormed back to rap on Dave's door loudly and undoubtedly obnoxiously.]

[After getting Dave's permission, she's holed herself up in the library with a stack of books on what she hopes is the right thing. She has absolutely no idea what she's looking for, honestly. She's pretty sure half the books she's grabbed are useless. Well, whatever. She'll check them out anyway. She just refuses to ask Dave or John to teach her this whole sign language business. Especially after John had assumed she wouldn't want to learn it. The nerve.

Okay, this book is useless. She tosses it to the side, onto another pile of books that haven't been helpful at all. Ugh, this is annoying. She picks up another book, flipping it open and burying her face in it.]

[Even if he isn't being an ass about it, she still hates being corrected because she hates not getting things right on the first try. Her eyes read over the PDA and what. Is that actually a compliment? Weird. She's starting to consider that maybe she should have pestered Dave back when she was in the Veil. A pointless thought because it's too little too late for any of that.]

Dave starts going through a series of different signs. He shows Vriska Mom, Dad, Boy(male), Girl(female), and other things that should be known at a basic level. After each sign, he also uses the alphabet to spell out what he just signed. Hopefully, you can keep up with those. These are just the basics.]

[She repeats them, though her brows are a little furrowed. Maybe it was basic human words to learn but trolls didn't have parents so two of those words are basically useless to her. She guesses maybe they'll come in handy for talking to humans though, so she shrugs it off. But not before she gives him shit for it.]

[At the mention of Spidermom, Dave does two gestures. He first holds his hands out and wriggles his fingers, doing the sign for 'spider' then does the sign for 'mom' for her. There you go, Spidermom. Bitch.

[Oh, okay. She can roll with that. She repeats the gestures. Not that she thinks she'll be talking much about Spidermom ever. But at least she knows the sign for it now. Yeah, she can do this sign language thing.]

[This is stupid. Why is he teaching you again?

Whatever. He goes through some more nouns and what not. He shows her the signs for you and me so she can start some type of half assed conversation with people. He idly wonders what he can trick Vriska into signing. He'll keep some things in mind later when she can start doing entire sentences.]

[This is definitely not his kind of place, but so far talking to other people hasn't been of any real use. People are either just as clueless as he is or won't talk about what they know, so he's decided to take a leaf from Estelle's... well, book, sotospeak and turn to written knowledge.

There's gotta be something in these multitude of shelves that can help, right?

At least that's what his dwindling optimism is saying. After a while he's just wandering the shelves aimlessly, looking for anything that's eye-grabbing when he spots Vriska angrily tossing books about. It's the horns and skin that grab his attention because they are practically identical to that of Gamzee's. (Horn aside.)

He'll discreetly linger by one shelf and watch her, wondering if it's just the looks or if they share personalities as well. She doesn't seem like she's up to anything bad but, hey, the worst ones rarely ever do.]

[Aisha's just in the library to use the computer, because she really doesn't care about her grades here in the least bit. So she looks at the troll (at this point she's met them all but her) curiously.

She's starting to get hungry too, but that's neither here nor there.]

You know we get paid just for going to class, right? [Look, she did her time in school, okay? Passing grades are cool with her.]

Vriska's doing her best to try to memorize what he's showing her so she doesn't have to relearn later. Which means repeating it half a dozen times. And if she did forget, hopefully some of these books would have the standard stuff so Dave wouldn't have to teach it to her again. She really doesn't want to give Dave the satisfaction of her forgetting something.]

[It doesn't take Vriska long to feel like she's being watched. She's spent her entire time in the Veil watching other people, so she's kind of a pro at it. She glances around, eyes narrowing when they finally land on who has been presumably watching her.]

What the hell are you staring at, human? Never seen a troll before?

[Vriska snaps the book shut with more force than necessary, swiveling to to find the source of the voice. Whoa she is... Not human? Well, she kind of looks human. In the same sense Vriska does but in different areas. Well, whatever. She doesn't really care.]

[And along comes a hedgehog, mindng his own business and running around without a care in the world.

Oh right it's the library, he can't run in here. But he likes to see what other people are doing. It's kind of interesting.

So he happens upon Vriska, eyes the books she has, and lets out a small whistle.] You plannin' to read all of those today?

Sure, if people would quit in- [She slams the book closed, eyes turning to glare at the newest interruption as she speaks.]
