[Okay this rights thing? Complete and total bull shit. It hadn't bothered her at first, because she didn't care what kind of food she was eating because it was all human food. But when she tries to go to the library and is turned away because she doesn't have permission? Fuck that. It had taken almost all of her resistance to not curb stomp the person that had denied her entrance. She's trying to be less of a terrible person. So instead she'd stormed back to rap on Dave's door loudly and undoubtedly obnoxiously.]

[After getting Dave's permission, she's holed herself up in the library with a stack of books on what she hopes is the right thing. She has absolutely no idea what she's looking for, honestly. She's pretty sure half the books she's grabbed are useless. Well, whatever. She'll check them out anyway. She just refuses to ask Dave or John to teach her this whole sign language business. Especially after John had assumed she wouldn't want to learn it. The nerve.

Okay, this book is useless. She tosses it to the side, onto another pile of books that haven't been helpful at all. Ugh, this is annoying. She picks up another book, flipping it open and burying her face in it.]

[This is definitely not his kind of place, but so far talking to other people hasn't been of any real use. People are either just as clueless as he is or won't talk about what they know, so he's decided to take a leaf from Estelle's... well, book, sotospeak and turn to written knowledge.

There's gotta be something in these multitude of shelves that can help, right?

At least that's what his dwindling optimism is saying. After a while he's just wandering the shelves aimlessly, looking for anything that's eye-grabbing when he spots Vriska angrily tossing books about. It's the horns and skin that grab his attention because they are practically identical to that of Gamzee's. (Horn aside.)

He'll discreetly linger by one shelf and watch her, wondering if it's just the looks or if they share personalities as well. She doesn't seem like she's up to anything bad but, hey, the worst ones rarely ever do.]

[It doesn't take Vriska long to feel like she's being watched. She's spent her entire time in the Veil watching other people, so she's kind of a pro at it. She glances around, eyes narrowing when they finally land on who has been presumably watching her.]

What the hell are you staring at, human? Never seen a troll before?

Actually I have, and that's the problem. [He'll let her respond to that however she pleases, feeling he's justified in his rudeness considering what he's seen of Gamzee.]

[She slams the book closed, nearly toppling her chair as she stands to confront him.]

Are you trying to pick a fight with me? Pretty stupid of you, human. You really have no idea who you're messing with. I don't know which troll you met, and I don't really care. But lumping us all together like that is pretty fucking offensive.

[... yeah, this isn't helping his view of trolls thus far. Granted, she's justified in her rage, but as far as he's concerned? His provocation is too. He needs to know if these violent tendencies are an isolated incident or widespread across the whole race.]

What about me says I'm expecting you to be "pleasant?" [He's not going to point out that she's the one who started the conversation either because hey- details. Instead, he shifts slightly to keep his arms unobstructed in case he has to defend himself.]

[She rolls her eyes, thinking back to the the arrivals. Feferi, Sollux, Gamzee... And then there was the Dolorosa. Okay, it's really obvious who the culprit was out of that line up if they'd attacked someone. Unless Feferi did a highblood flip off the handle, which she really doubts.]
