Proving you can accept loss is an important part of life.

You forget that death means very little here.

I am merely thinking to the future, making them strong, giving them a chance.

And when they return home they will return to friends and family and a place that is familiar to them with familiar rules. Have more faith.

Familiar or not, they will still need to be strong. We can send them back stronger and better than they arrived.

You believe that people would rather live in fear of violence? I died for the peace I believe in because I wanted to better society and have grubs grow to be worry-free and peaceful trolls. I believe that force is rarely necessary- which is not to say that it is never needed- but peace gets better results.

Humans are violent by nature. Trolls more so from what I've seen of all your species apart from you. [There had been a few in their round and of course there had been the Gamzee incident.]

If everyone chose peace then chaos would break out. Because people would get bored.

There are plenty of constructive ways to prevent boredom!

Yet violence is the preferred one, which leads me to believe it is instinctive. That violence is the natural way of things.

It is possible to change those instincts, are dogs not just domesticated wolves?

And dogs turn feral all the time. You can tame them for a while, but when they face hardship they become just as wild as wolves again, yet softer. [And then they die, starve to death or get killed by real wolves, or hungry humans.]

But not all dogs do, it is possibly to remain peaceful.

You have an overwhelmingly negative view on life.
