Location: Monday, in the Fortitude literature classroom right after England's British Literature class lets out.
Summary: England grumbles, and vows to Shion.

[He sighs a little, eying the stack of graded papers he'll need to pass back tomorrow. Considering he hasn't really made a habit of getting out and fighting, he's had quite a bit of free time, so he has...nothing to do, really, now that his work is done. He has one assignment from today to grade, but that won't take long at all.

Though he likely will have Discard errands to run. What a pain in the arse.]

[Shion had known he wasn't going to do too well in this class, despite the reading he had done while living with Nezumi there was so much he didn't know, so much he didn't understand and it didn't help that he couldn't seem to remember even the titles of most the books he had read, never mind what they were about.

He was still sat at his desk as everyone else left, wondering how to broach the subject with his teacher.]

[England had eventually picked up the stack of new papers to even out the pile, tapping it twice against the desk before setting it down in front of him to begin grading. Until he noticed a lingering student, anyways.

He looked up and placed his pen down, regarding the boy. He had to search for a name for a moment. When he found one, it was a little awkward, since Shion had no last name listed, and England was determined to address everyone properly. Oh well.]

Mister Shion. Do you require something of me?

[He looked up for a moment before approaching the teacher.] I'm sorry about my poor performance in class Mister Kirkland... [Really this failing at school thing is completely new to him, he was always a very good student before.]

[Shion certainly wasn't the only one he'd seen poor performance from. He'd be more angry about it if they all didn't genuinely seem to be trying hard.]

It's quite alright. Is there anything in particular that is giving you trouble? I believe it would be neglecting my duties as a teacher if I were to allow a good student to fail a class.

[...though we'll see how much patience he has after a few months of teaching.]

[Shion looked down] Where I come from literature is banned, until a few months ago I had only ever seen one book...

I have been living outside my city and read many books belonging to my friend... yet I seem to have forgotten... most of them. [And it was frustrating]
