Summary: Nanashi is meant to be teaching bloodless killing, he's not too impressed but class sort of happens
Warnings: If they actually get round to any actual teaching, descriptions of violence? Talk about killing also.

Nanashi was only here in his classroom because he figured doing what he was told to and teaching was the least he could do for the free food, shelter and relative safety they had offered him. Being kidnapped, since from hearing the others talking this is what he guessed had happened, and brought to a school where he was expected to battle, was an interesting version of safety.

But compared to the last few years it was. At least it would have been if Kotarou wasn't lay in the infirmary unconscious showing no signs of waking any time soon. No one knew what had happened to the kid, he had just dropped, along with others, from two schools. Nanashi sighed slightly in frustration.

The class was starting, Nanashi had pushed all the furniture up to the walls to create a practice space, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing. The idea that he was to teach these kids to kill was disturbing for him, to kill without bullets, without blades; something he had become good at since binding his gun.

That thought gave him a headache though so he looked up at the gathered class.

"How many of you have killed before?"

He might as well get a feel for his students first.

[Which he is, just doesn't realize it.]

I mean, I hope there was a good reason for it?

There was. A youkai has to, on occasion, in order to survive.

[She's not going to mention the 'eating humans' part.]

I see... I guess I should be glad I was never forced to such measures.

[Well, not that magicians eat people, mostly]

You realize that in my universe, you did, no? A vampire like Remilia wouldn't do all her own hunting.

Eh? The more I hear about this other me, the stranger it sounds... I wonder if it's not just a coincidence of names and looks?

[It's not even a real suggestion though; just from talking to this Alice, even if she was clearly different from the girl he knew, he could tell the similarities were more than superficial.]

It's definitely not a coincidence. You're far too much like her for it to be. Okay, you're still growing into the perfect demeanor that the Sakuya I'm familiar with has, but otherwise? You're all too much like her.

...I wonder if the other me is the coincidence, though...

...I'm not sure whether I should be flattered or offended at that comparison. [He's smiling though, obviously not the latter]

I can't honestly think so... not just how you look, but the way you talk, your mannerisms... when you're not mentioning Gensokyo or youkai or the like, I can almost think I'm back in Reims, talking to the Alice I know.

Hmm. Interesting, to think of it. Like the girl from that school fell through the rabbit hole and wound up becoming the one I am.

My memories of being younger than I am are fuzzy at best, and nonexistent at worst, so there isn't any way for me to say for sure.

I suppose, though unless the Alice I know gets younger somehow, I don't see how it could possibly work.

This whole thing is really a mystery... why are you much the same, but I'm a maid?

I don't know. Timelines are strange. Timelines and apparently gender boundaries, too.

Hmmm... well, it provides an interesting view in what differences gender makes? Ah, though I suppose we have a lot of environmental differences as well. I've never met a vampire, for one. Well, until coming here.

This is true. I'm used to meeting all sorts, vampires and demons and magicians like myself, but I can only imagine how strange it sounds for you.

[A beat.]

I suppose I must seem like your Alice, given the setting and the uniforms and such, hm?

[Dave raised his hand without hesitation. Had he killed a person before? No, but that wasn't what the other asked. All those monsters and creatures? Yes, he took them down without hesitation.
