[Not long after the assembly...]
[Becca has a PDA with video function now, but she's had that for a little bit. That's not the important thing. She tosses it onto her bed and it turns on accidentally. She sits down with a memory charm, which she puts on eagerly. Almost immediately, her eyes go wide, and she tips over onto the bed, drawing her knees to her chest. She cries out in fear and remembered pain, shuddering horribly as tears fall from her eyes.]

[Have a blur of video as she takes off from her dorm, heading into town. She sounds determined.]

[She had flown as fast as she could and then went the rest of the way on foot. She needed to be stealthy sense she wasn't from this school. It took quite a few wrong turns and wrong rooms but before too long the door opens a bit and a whisper from it]
Becca..? You in here?

[She carefully climbs up beside her and attempts to hug her.]
It's my turn to be strong for ya.

It's...they're not injured...

[She brought her voice down for now. She wanted to know what had her strong friend so upset.]

So not all of the memories they took from us are good. That's always good to know now...If you wanna talk about it..

[She didn't understand and probably wouldn't, but she wanted to understand.]

Because she's evil...alcohol's evil...

[Much as Becca wants to believe she's a grown up and clear of all of her issues, when it comes to alcohol and her mother's abuse, she's still very much a child. It's easier to blame the abuse on 'evil alcohol' than accept it in a more mature way.]
