Time of day: HIGH NOON. Backdated to... idek Tuesday was it? Yeah.

[ so hey battling. It's only Tuesday and we've had a blast, right? Taking out Fortitude Players when we find'em, and here's another one. They met somewhere, there was a challenge, there was an acceptance, and now they're standing in the centre of the battle arena engaged in some pre-beating pleasantries. ]

[Aisha's a little pouty about not doing the fighting herself. Dave's lucky he got to be a player twice, but she's not really mad, and signs "Hi" to him and John with her newfound super special signing skillz.]

[Oh. Is John teaching other people how to sign? He awkwardly just waves back, because waving is pretty damn universal honestly.

John glances at John, then at the other two before giving a curt nod and pulling his glove out. Gotta get this shit on the road right?]

[ Yeah, John is teaching pretty much everybody who gives half a shit about it. At least the alphabet, anyway. John cheerfully signs "hi, Aisha!" and waves, rocking awkwardly back and forth on his heels.

He really has no idea how this shit works. Or if it's going to feel weird? He assumes it will. And possibly hurt. And--

[Aisha giggles, she's seen Gino fight and knows he can, so there's only one stupid thing he can do in her eyes.]

Underestimating our competition, of course~! Dave's a pretty tough cookie, this could be a real battle if he acts like he cares this time.

[Dave rolls his eyes, even if he knows it can't be seen behind his shades. He fits the glove onto his hand and pulls the weapon out of John without hesitation.

And nearly drops it because, what the fuck was that just now? Dave had never seen that symbol appear anywhere and...oh shit did they break the game?

Fuck. What is Outbreak condition and why has no one told them about it before. 8|]

Wait. Wait, that's not normal. That didn't happen when the other guy drew HIS weapon, and John's watched a couple battles and it didn't happen then either and... ]

[ He's amused for a second that they're apparently both going to be fighting with the same type of weapon, when the weird symbol flickers across John's hammer. Whoa what. Also, he's the only one here who has no idea how to speak sign language sorry guys. ]

[Dave looks at John and then at Gino before giving him a shrug. Fuck if he knows what happens. The hammer seems fine though. Actually, nothing seems to have changed.
