This log is: Open! Picnic party post! Everyone is invited ever! Just assume they saw your character and dragged them along! Bring food if you like!
Location: The woods.
Summary: Shion and Becca go on a picnic, they invite everyone! Tag them, tag each other. Have a food fight!

Shion had spent all his time after work baking. He still couldn't remember how to make cherry pie but he had made some bread rolls and a selection of cakes. He and Becca were taking Mop and Monster on a walk, and for a picnic.

Of course everyone else was invited, Shion asked anyone he saw that day in Fortitude or at work along, and they asked people on the way to the woods.

They found a clearing in the woods and started handing out food. Fending off Mop and Monster who wanted to share the picnic too.

Shion is completely oblivious. He helped set up the food, pausing every so often to pull Mop or Monster away.

"It will be, even if this fog doesn't look like it is going to clear." Not that he had any idea how to really tell that, his head hurt just thinking about it.

"This was such a good idea. Thank you, Shion," she insists, moving to try to take his hand again. This time, she also leans in, considering trying to kiss his cheek.

Shion didn't mind her taking his hand, he smiled at her. Grabbing another box of bread rolls. "Do you think a lot of people will come?"

Yes, Becca decides, kissing his cheek is a good idea. She leans in to brush her lips over his cheek affectionately.

"I dunno. It'll be fun if there's lots of people. But it'll be fun spending time just with you even if there's not."

He blinked, but Becca was from a different world than him, one where they did things differently. "It will be." He smiled.

Then Monster, deciding he wanted attention pounced on Shion attempting to lick his face.

"Monster!" Becca yelped, grabbing his collar to try to haul him off of Shion. "You naughty dog, stay on the ground where you belong!"

Monster just yipped at her and continued his endeavor to lick Shion to death. Not wanting to miss out on the fun Mop came to join in.

Becca put her body weight into hauling the dog off of Shion, which only succeeded in getting her on the ground with an armful of dog. She looked up at the pup and laughed, wondering how their positions had switched. "You goofdog! Look what you made me do!"

Shion sat up when he could and laughed as he saw Becca's predicament. Finding a stick on the ground he threw it, the two puppies dashed after it, distracted for now.

Becca laughed and pulled herself up again, dusting herself off. She went over to Shion and moved to drape herself over him in an affectionate, friendly hug.

Shion laughed and hugged back, glad that Becca no longer jumped any time someone touched her. As the dogs ran back over to them he smiled. "We should finish setting up."

"Yeah, I guess," she laughed, pulling away. She took the stick from Mop, who had managed to get to it before Monster, and gave it a throw again. Then she turned to help Shion unpack the food.
