Post Dungeon Party! [open to everyone ever]

Location: Battle arena and streets around it, rest day afternoon after the train arrives
Summary: The first dungeon has been defeated! The townspeople celebrate with a party

The ship had disappeared on Friday evening with the sun and the townspeople had began preparing for today. For after every dungeon there was a celebration! The dungeon had been defeated, the town had new heroes.

The Battle Arena had been transformed, their were stalls with delicacies from the many food shops of Rakuen, games to play, a band played (very quiet and calming) music in a corner. There was a roped off area for people to dance.

All the food and entertainment was free, just for today. For the members of the two schools had done spectacularly well and this was their reward from the townspeople. The large screen showed highlights of the dungeons; from peoples victories over the Kraken to more embarrassing moments. A handful of small children ran around handing out flower chains.

[Koizumi spent a few minutes browsing the stalls and sampling a bit of the food, for the sake of cultural enrichment-- one ought to learn as much as possible about their surroundings, after all-- but he's basically been parked over by the games the whole time. He's playing every game he can get his paws on, especially ones that are new to him, with anyone he can talk into it. He's also catastrophically losing every single game. Not that it seems to bother him; quite the contrary, he looks like he's having the time of his life.]

[Kotaro's also having a lot of fun, he smiled at the man as he lost and giggled.] I don't really know what to do!

Oh? [Koizumi smiles down at him.] Well, that's no good. Knowledge is power, after all. Which game would you like to play?

Errrm... [Kotaro looked around, decisions, decisions it was almost too much for him. Finally he pointed to one with a high net and a ball.] That one!

((Ooc: I'm imagining like a basketball/netball net, having to shoot so many nets to win sort of thing.))

[A game of luck and coordination, with no strategy at all. Koizumi's face falls a little, almost imperceptibly, before he fixes his smile.]

From what I understand, you get 5 tries to throw the ball into the hoop. If you make 4 of them, the man gives you candy, and if you make all 5 he gives you a toy. Shall we try it?

[Kotaro's face lit up at the mention of candy and more so at a toy!] Okay! [He picked up the first ball.] Do you want to go first?

No, it's all right. Maybe I can learn a few tricks by watching you. [He gives the kid a conspiratorial wink.]

Okay! [And then he throws the ball, it goes in the completely wrong direction.]
