Summary: In which Marik finally notices his sister is here.

[Though it had been quite some time since he saw his sister, he hadn't noticed just yet that she was actually here right now. He did find it quite odd that he caught glimpses of her on occasion, which had started a few weeks ago when the previous newcomers came.

However, as the sightings grew more and more, he was beginning to wonder if this place was affecting him. The realization didn't hit him, right until he passed by her one day.

And then, it finally smacked him hard in the face as he did a double-take. God, Marik. Good job in being so dense.]

[She'd been waiting for him to notice her; she'd thought that maybe he'd been upset with her for some reason, and though she had no real evidence to back it up, she had thought there were whispers of people from varying times but were from the same world. So maybe there was some part of her that was worried about just when her brother came from.

Like during the events of Battle City. That worried her a lot.

Her head was bowed as she walked past him, but she immediately stopped in her tracks when she heard his voice, and she turned around with a small smile on her lips.]

I was wondering when you would notice, brother.

Ah ha ha ha...

[Sheepishly rubs the back of his head. Man, to have not noticed her for this long...the embarrassment is very much visble, right down to his cheeks flushing a dark shade of red.]

Yeah. Sorry about that. It's just that it's been quite a while since the last time I saw you, before I left for this school.

It's quite alright, Marik.

[It really is. She looks so incredibly happy to see him.]

How long have you actually been here?

About four months, actually! It's been pretty nice so far, aside from some trouble, but other then that, it's fine.

How about you? When did you get here?

Ah, a week or two ago? It's been a bit... odd, getting used to being here.

[She pauses, then lowers her head slightly.]

I'm actually very happy to see you here. I was worried.

[babygotback]

Yeah, same here...

[A little surprised; he raises a brow.]

You, worried? Why?

[antiquitied]

[A small smile plays at her lips to draw attention from the somewhat sad look in her eyes.]

I finally had my brothers back, and my first thought upon arrival was that circumstances had taken you two from me again.

[She sighs and steps closer, her arms wrapping around his waist as her forehead rested against his shoulder - it seemed like it was just yesterday when she was actually taller than him and always making sure he stayed out of trouble.]

Having just one of you with me is more than enough right now.

[babygotback]

[He turns slightly red and tenses up for only second. But, he takes in all the warmth and relaxes just as quickly; his arms go around her shoulders to pull her closer.]

...I'm not going anywhere, big sis. Count on it.

[Her arms tighten around him as she takes a moment to properly compose herself. She can't go getting herself all teary-eyed in the middle of a hallway, after all.]

You had better not.

[Though that was silly for her to even say, and she even manages to laugh quietly about it before pulling back just enough to properly look at him.]

I think you and I... we should do something together someday soon.
