rakuen | Fortitude Round 7

It should be a familiar scene by now, Dolorosa standing on the platform with her ever peaceful expression, flanked by her ever growing number of Prefects. There are five others with her now, Nanami, Lelouch, Yuri, Sonic, and Jade. It's hardly noticeable but Dolorosa is purposefully keeping her distance from Lelouch after some recent revelations. But nothing else has changed, everything else is normal and in order to keep the peace she begins her speech as if everything is normal. Although you may be feeling a bit sick

"Good morning, my students. I know you have had an eventful round, the first dungeon is always exciting and it is something you will always remember. I still remember my first dungeon," she smiles fondly but doesn't tell the story of her first dungeon, "This is usually the point where I announce battles, but because it was a dungeon round there was no battling even if there could have been. I am very proud of all of you."

That would be another difference, the battle records do not appear behind her, nor does she announce who won the round. Instead she explains that because the results of the dungeon have been publicized before she will save time and go straight on to the Players for this round.

"This is Round 7, everything goes back to normal this round. You are expected to to vow with Weapons and battle Conquest. Now that we have been here for some time and I know the abilities that all of you have, I know you have both the ability to win graciously and lose graciously. I am proud of all of you."

Her smile falters for a split second as she glances at the board behind her, almost expecting something like what happened during Round 5 assembly to occur again. After seeing that, no, the board was not going to light up and show Fortitude the Conquest assembly, she concludes her speech.

"Have a wonderful round everyone."

[ It's been a whole day, and being completely cut off from his waking body is actually starting to freak him out. Anything could be happening to him while he's not there, not able to even see what's going on. He's probably still alive, or he would have died in this body as well -- but that's all he can guarantee.

In addition to that, any of his roommates who'd been there when he woke up would have been able to see quite the sight: The usually calm and collected Dirk flailing around like a moron and falling out of bed as soon as he woke up. WHAT IS DREAMING IS IT ALWAYS THAT WEIRD???

Anyway he is just going to pretend that didn't happen, and give an approving nod to the Player list. Sure, he can do that.

He approaches someone at random, since he still doesn't know most of the people here, making sure to steer clear of the multitude of trolls he sees mingling about. ]

[And she's looking through the crowd. She finds him! Finding him at full speed by the way. But they're friends and friends get to do this. Right?] Look out! [Stumbling toward you!]

[ Not today, pegasister. He easily sidesteps the barreling pony. ]

What's up, Bubblecup?

[She falls in a heap just past where he'd been. She pops up again unscathed.]Hiiii Dirk! [She's crosseyed now from the impact. She picks an angle to look at him from. She chose wrong.]

[ Ohhh Bubblecup. She's kind of growing on him. ] Morning. You need to be more careful, you know.

Also, I noticed your name wasn't on that list. Let me be your Player.

Okay I'll try to be careful. [But crashing into people is what cool friends do.] Sure!

[ As soon as she answers, he notices the mark of a shield appear on one of her legs, right above her hoof. Interesting... ]

Great. I'm planning on fighting, by the way, so that had better not bother you. What's your weapon?

It's a gun that blows bubbles! The bubbles blew up some monsters in the dungeon last round. It's really cool!

[ He cocked one eyebrow at the word "bubbles", but... that sounds pretty impressive. ]

Nice. I primarily use bladekind and puppetkind, but I could stand to learn my way around a gun.

[Louis has given up on using his slate for a while. It's now covered in smudges and smears and who-knows-what. However, once approached, he does nod enthusiastically. Yes, he does.]

[He shakes his head, then holds up his trumpet, gesturing to it and then to his chest.]

[He nods. He's curious about what exactly those battles are like, after all.]

Great. My name's Dirk, by the way. Nice to have you on board.

[Louis just nods. It's kind of difficult to-wait a moment. Of course! He picks up his medal with his beak, gesturing to it. It has his name on it, which should be pretty obvious.]

[[And his mun can't find her book, so she can't give you the full text of the medal. Sorry.]]

[ He gives the medal a quick glance-over. Communicating like this is going to be tough, but at least he has a name for this guy now... Oh!

He reaches into a pocket and pulls out his PDA. ] Do you have one of these? You can get 'em from Recette's shop in town.
