She had seen the announcement, but Hiyo didn't really have the time of day to really give some sort of half-assed word of congratulations to her roommate. Well, it wasn't her fault that she was busy with her own things. She was allowed to a life, wasn't she?

Entering her dorm room, she called out the name of this roommate in hopes that he was around. "Fletcher, Fletcher!"

Fletcher, at that time, was in their room doing some homework. He looked up when Hiyo called his name. "Oh! Hi, Hiyo." He smiled to her. "How are you?"

"I'm good, I had to do some extra things back in class," she chirped, setting her backpack down on her bed and sat down. Her eyes looked at the other boy with amusement. "Fletcher, I heard you were a Player this round." Well, she wasn't one to beat around the bush, that was for sure.

"Oh-- right, I am." He nodded. And she wasn't, which meant she had to be a Weapon... "Do you have a Player, Hiyo?"

Confirmation. Excellent.

"I don't, actually," she smiled. "I was actually hoping to be of some help to you. That is, if you don't mind having me on your team?"

Ah-- so that would make four weapons. Only one more after that, and then...!

He smiled widely. "Sure! I'm not planning to fight at all, so I'd love to."

"But Fletcher," she paused for a second, thinking of words to say. "You can't just not fight, you know?" She remembered saying the same thing to Kallen. Yes, almost deja vu but without that odd feeling. "It's possible, but you'll have to fight eventually."

She smiled, "It's okay then! If you get into a fight, Hiyo will be there for you all the way!"

He shrunk a little under her words. "I-- um, thanks, but I really don't want to, so... And if I get one more Weapon, then I win the round and I can't fight anyway!"

She moved over to his side, sitting beside him as she smiled at him kindly. "Why do you not want to fight?" Hiyo asked Fletcher, curious as to see what the reason was behind his nonviolent plans. Fletcher didn't look like a fighter, and he was playing the role of a peace keeper, but it didn't hurt to ask. Even if she wouldn't end up being his Weapon after all.

"I don't like hurting people," he said, looking down abashedly. "If I fight I'll have to hurt people, so--I don't want to fight."

"There's ways to get around hurting people in a fight, you know, but I guess if you've already decided on things, that's that!" There was always verbal abuse instead of something physical, but she can see that Fletcher wasn't capable of that either. Ahh, this was pathetic. And she had actually put some hope into Fletcher about being a Player who would fight but... She thought wrong. Oh well.
