[Guess who is excited? Nepeta is excited! She still has no clue that the Equius she has been conversing with is not the Equius she knew so she is in for quite the surprise. She waits patiently in front of her dorm door, rocking back and forth on her paw-like feet]

[ and likewise, even though he's not stupid and she doesn't write like he remembers her to - but that's the keyword, 'remembers'. He doesn't even remember how to type himself. Who knows what they've done to Nepeta. It makes him pretty angry actually.




That's probably the reason he puts a fist through her door when he knocks. ]

[JESUS CHRIST WHAT WAS THAT. Nepeta jumped and stared at the door. Her furry ears flickered back against her skull and she eyed the door warily before forcing herself to relax.]

...Equius? [She tentatively makes her way back to the door, and slowly opens it up]

I did not mean to do that. [ he's staring at the hole in the door and the splinters in his hand with vague, unfocused irritation. Half of the things here are totally indestructable so the few objects that he can destroy take him by surprise. ]

[When she opens the door completely, there are two things she registers. One is that she doesn't need to look up. She is fairly level with him in height which is a little boggling.

Yet more disconcerting is how he looks. The grey skin and the horns (one chipped). All telling signs, but how was that possible? For a moment she just looks at him dumbfounded, but she shakes her head and in a lost tone she finally responded.]

No it's....it's ok. [A beat] You've...changed.

[heiropaque]

[ and likewise, she's taller, and there are more alarming differences. Like her ears. It doesn't take him very long to realise that he's made a mistake in thinking she's the Nepeta he knew, but. He's desperate okay. ]

No I haven't. We are from different universes. That is all.

[scavenges]

[She kind of stared at him dumbly at that answer before remembering her manners and scooting aside so that he could enter.]
